A vaginal yeast infection is not a disease, pathology, or invading foreign agent. It is a cleansing process, a form of detoxification orchestrated by the body itself. Yeast is a fungus, and fungus is a mold. Yeast infections are among the body's janitorial mechanisms, employed specifically when other cleansing agents, bacteria and parasites, are unable to handle the job because the toxicity is too extreme or the environment is too cool and moist for those agents to operate effectively.
Aajonus's Definition
A vaginal yeast infection is not a disease, pathology, or invading foreign agent. It is a cleansing process, a form of detoxification orchestrated by the body itself. Yeast is a fungus, and fungus is a mold. Yeast infections are among the body's janitorial mechanisms, employed specifically when other cleansing agents, bacteria and parasites, are unable to handle the job because the toxicity is too extreme or the environment is too cool and moist for those agents to operate effectively.
Aajonus defines it directly: "YEAST INFECTION is characterized by swollen, inflamed and itchy skin. Yeast eat tissue toxins and alkalize the system. Yeast are helpful and should be allowed to run their cycle. Medication poisons the already toxic and hardened tissue, causing it to remain toxic and hardened. If your goal is to improve your health, the worst thing you can do is to destroy a yeast infection with medications."
Vaginitis is cross-referenced directly to the Yeast Infection entry, meaning Aajonus considered the two to be the same condition or closely equivalent manifestations of the same underlying process.
The yeast is not attacking the body. It is eating damaged, toxic tissue, specifically tissue that has been damaged by sugar byproducts, cooked carbohydrate residues, adrenaline-related chemicals, insulin-related chemicals, undigested lactate, antibiotic residues, or environmental toxins that the body has routed to the vaginal canal for discharge.
Candida is described as "a yeast-like condition (detoxification) that eats little stagnant pools of blood that result from internal lesions caused by dryness and cracking of the tissues within the body. Candida fungus cleans the system by eating degenerated tissue damaged by accumulated cooked carbohydrate-based, adrenaline- or insulin-related chemicals. Candida is helpful and should have its cycle."
Aajonus is explicit: "The worst thing anyone can do if he or she wants to improve his or her health is to destroy Candida."
He also establishes that vaginal yeast infections are not contagious: "In yeast infections, if they're internal, cannot pass on." This extends from his broader position that fungus lives inside the body, feeds on what's inside the body, and cannot make its way through channels it does not normally travel. Yeast must be directly introduced into tissue to infect, it does not pass from one person to another through contact.
Yeast, mold, and fungus are used interchangeably in this framework. They are all the same category of cleansing agent: "Yeast is a fungus. Yeast is a mold. Molds and yeast are fungus. Fungus are good for you even though it's not comfortable and doesn't look good and it stinks. All good. Yeast infections are all good. They clean out certain toxicity tissue that has been damaged by something that they normally eat."
---
Root Cause
There are multiple distinct and overlapping root causes identified across the source materials. Each is described in detail below.
---
This is the primary, foundational cause. Yeast feeds on sugars, specifically toxic sugar residues stored in the body from a lifetime of eating cooked starches and carbohydrates.
"What is Candida? Candida is a yeast, it's a mold. What does yeast feed on? Sugar. And what does it feed on normally? Damaged cells, damaged by sugar byproducts."
"Yeasts feed on undigested or poorly digested or the byproducts of carbohydrate. Yeasts are just as important as bacteria. But if you don't want the yeast, and a human being is full of yeast because he eats all the breads and the cakes and everything, you're going to be a body plagued with yeast your whole life as long as you eat any carbohydrates, including fruit."
"People are used to eating a lot of cooked starch, whether it's vegetable or grain. A lot of potatoes in their lifetime, a lot of breads in their lifetime. So they've got all that starch. And what does Candida feed on? Sugars. So these are toxic sugars in their system. The Candida is trying to break that stuff down and get rid of it. So if they have been heavy starch eaters, heavy pizza eaters, potatoes, any kind of eater like that, and they haven't been able to break the sugars down well, then those sugars have a tendency to mold or rot or ferment in their system."
"You can smell somebody who is slightly fermenting. Under their skin they have a fermentation smell. Or it has a moldy smell to it. Those starches are breaking down. Candida is just one of the elements that the body uses, one amongst other fungal, bacterial, or viral bodies that the system will use to try to break those sugars down. And if they continue on a bad diet, it just keeps storing."
Regarding the yeast discharge and odor specifically in the vaginal context: "Those yeast infections you get, they're so itchy and they have such a high odor because you eat too much carbohydrates. They thrive on it. You can't eat up all of them. Thrive on toxic tissue full of carbohydrates."
---
"Alcohol, coffee, teas, aspirin, soft drinks with caffeine and salt consumed in large quantities over years are all poisonous, overstimulating adrenals and pancreas. The high levels of adrenaline and insulin create toxic conditions and dryness that cause lesions, thereby creating conditions where yeast are necessary for cleansing."
The adrenaline-candida-sugar cycle is deeply described: When the body has overactive adrenal glands, adrenaline combines with the sugar residues stored from cooked starch eating and the lack of adequate fats, saturating the body and causing candida. "Usually the candida occurs before the adrenal exhaustion. But they usually occur together. I would say at least eighty-six percent of the time they occur together."
In women specifically: "Now some women will have vaginal yeast infections. Rather than getting candida [systemically], because the body will keep throwing the adrenaline and sugars down there where a woman can get rid of it quicker. Whereas a man will get it all through their system."
The tissues get damaged everywhere when adrenaline is chronic: "They can no longer produce their own prostaglandins, intracellular hormones... The sugar that is stored in there, what do you think is going to feed on that? The sugar that is stored in the tissue with the adrenalin and pockets of it all over, adrenal and sugar... a yeast. And candida is one of the yeasts that feed on it."
---
Aajonus identifies antibiotics, particularly penicillin, as a major cause of fungus and yeast conditions: "That pus test inspired me to investigate athletes foot, other fungus, some yeast infections, and the like. I have most often found that antibiotics were the cause."
Coffee is identified as the single worst dietary cause: "I have found that drinking coffee is the worst cause of yeast infections."
The mechanism for antibiotics: "Because all antibiotics create unnatural antibodies inside the human system, the body has to get rid of them. If it doesn't, they disrupt normal functions, consume vast amounts of blood nutrients and destroy tissue... When people get a fungus and the skin itches and peels away, it's most often the body throwing off antibiotics or some other medication that molds, or causes molds, within the body."
The formula he created to eliminate fungus is described specifically as being "mainly to get rid of fungus from vaccines, from antibiotics, including penicillin, because they do", the sentence ends mid-thought, but the purpose is clear.
"You wonder where all your fungus and your candida and all that came from... Of course, they have lots of fungus, lots of yeast infections [in those given antibiotics]. Doesn't come from your food, but you can certainly eat badly to feed it more, to give it more to feed on."
He also notes the historical absence of fungal conditions before antibiotics: "Crot rotch [jock itch], foot decay. Didn't exist. Yeah, we have it all over the place... Not before penicillin and antibiotics came out? Zip zero. Can't find it in any of the medical records anywhere. Not even in Greece and Rome."
The smoking connection is also identified: "Smoking puts a person at higher risk of developing Candida."
---
This is a specific mechanical cause of vaginal yeast infections tied to the quality of vaginal mucus: "A lot of women will have too thin of mucus in the vaginal cavity. So when they have sex, the sex is not long lived. The fibers are too short. The protein fibers, protein fibers build a mush like a screen. And if the fibers are too short, it does not build a good protective wall against penetration of let's say cells from the penis or even cells from their own vaginal area that breaks down with the friction. And it penetrates the walls and becomes ruptured and causes an irritation to the mucus membranes and they end up with a yeast infection."
The diagnostic test for mucus quality: "The way you can tell whether you have good long fibers or not is like when you go through fertility. When you're fertile, the mucus, you can put the mucus in your finger and it will stretch anywhere from..." [passage truncated but the point is that stretchable, long-fibered mucus is protective, while thin, short-fibered mucus leaves the tissue vulnerable].
To address low mucus formation in the vaginal area: "If you have a low mucus formation in the vaginal area, you need to do it with a milkshake, not with plain milk. So have egg in it and a little extra cream with the milk because the body cannot form a lot of mucus simply with milk. It takes egg and extra cream with it."
---
Cold milk is identified as a direct cause of vaginal yeast infections through the mechanism of undigested lactate: "If you drink cold milk, it has a tendency to absorb into the stomach lining without digestion. You can get some casein, some lactate in the blood without digestion. That can cause a slight bit of allergy... It creates a lot of vaginal infections, vaginal yeast because their body will throw off that undigested lactate down there and then the yeast has to break it down in the tissues because it gets caught up in the tissue and then you've got a yeast infection."
---
The vagina is one of the body's major toxin elimination channels, particularly for women. When toxins cannot exit through the skin via perspiration, or through the lungs and sinuses via mucus, they are routed to the vaginal canal: "Does environmental toxins give a woman a vaginal infection? A vaginal infection could be caused by environmental toxins. Absolutely. They can cause disease anywhere. If your body decides to throw that waste off because you're not taking it out through the skin and perspiration, you're not dumping it in your lungs or sinuses with mucus, they throw it off in the mucus of your vaginal area."
This is positioned as a benefit of female physiology: "What does a woman secrete that a man does 20% more in a lifetime? Mucus to the vaginal cavity. Many, many toxins are removed from the vaginal cavity... Women, when you find you've got a foul odor down there... just be glad it's leaving your body."
---
In the hierarchy of the body's janitorial systems, fungus is third in line, after bacteria and parasites:
- Bacteria: eat 50 times their weight in 24 hours, produce 1–5% waste
- Parasites: eat 100 times their weight in 24 hours, produce approximately 1–5% waste
- Fungus: consumes approximately 75% of what a parasite eats, produces waste that is reduced to 5–10%, but that waste causes intense drying and itching as it exits through mucus membranes and skin
"Fungus is the third choice of cleansing. But it will work where the toxins are so great that bacteria and parasites can't eat it because they will kill them. The toxicity will kill [bacteria and parasites]."
The vagina is specifically identified as an environment where fungus is appropriate: "Fungus are appropriate in many conditions. Like in a vagina where it's very moist and sometimes it's very cool rather than warm. A rectum can get the same way, very cool. The body will cool the area and let the fungus the yeast do its job there."
The intense itching is explained by the waste products of fungus: "Fungus can break down about twenty-five percent of its waste in twenty-four hours. Some can do more, but it does not neutralize the toxins like bacteria and parasites can do. That's why whenever you have a fungus, you have itching."
"Their fluids and their byproducts, their varitoxins cause intense drying. That's why when you have athlete's foot, it's so itchy... In women who have the yeast infection, it dries out that tissue and cause intense itching. If you have plenty of fat in your body, you're not going to have that reaction when that waste product is discharged from them. Your body will usually naturally dissolve it, neutralize it, and it'll pass out through the pores or out the mucus if it's comfortable."
---
Why This Happens
Detoxification The yeast infection in Aajonus's framework is definitionally a detoxification event. It is the body's active, intelligent cleansing process, not an invasion or malfunction. The yeast is doing what it is supposed to do: consuming toxic, damaged tissue.
secondary principle: Microbes (Terrain Theory) The entire treatment of candida and vaginal yeast fits within his Microbes principle, where bacteria, parasites, fungus, mold, yeast, and viruses are presented as the body's janitorial team. Yeast/fungus is the third tier of that janitorial hierarchy, deployed when bacterial and parasitic cleansing is insufficient or impossible due to excessive toxicity or cool, moist conditions.
Cooked Food The Cooked Food principle underlies the root cause: the lifetime accumulation of cooked carbohydrate byproducts, toxic sugar residues, and the damage done by processed insulin, antibiotics, and cooked starches creates the tissue damage that yeast is called upon to consume.
Also Relevant: Sovereignty The discussion of antibiotics, vaccination, and medical treatment of candida fits squarely in Sovereignty, particularly the insistence that destroying a yeast infection with medication is the worst thing a person can do for their health. The medical model is presented as fundamentally wrong in framing yeast as an enemy.
---
Symptoms Reframed
Itching: The itching is caused by the waste byproducts (varitoxins) of the fungus exiting through the mucus membranes. Fungus produces more waste than bacteria or parasites (5–10% versus 1–5%), and that waste is more drying and irritating. The itching is evidence that cleansing is occurring, not that the body is being harmed. If you have adequate fat in your body, the varitoxins will be buffered and the itching will be reduced significantly.
Discharge and Odor: The discharge is mucus carrying toxins out of the body. The odor is the result of the chemical nature of the waste being expelled. "Women, when you find you've got a foul odor down there... just be glad it's leaving your body. You can neutralize it with some kefir. Take care of the odor a little bit and reduce the odor. But you want to remove those poisons." The high odor of vaginal yeast infections is specifically because excessive carbohydrate eating gives the yeast more toxic, sugar-laden tissue to consume.
Swelling and Inflammation: These are signs of active detoxification and cellular repair, not infection or pathology.
Pain: When pain accompanies a vaginal condition, it indicates a significant toxic load in the area. In the case presented in the Q&A (vaginosis case), the pain in the vagina, hips, legs, and bladder was attributed to the discharge of chemicals, "gas is an indication that you are discharging chemicals." The detoxification process itself can be painful, particularly when toxin loads are very high.
Systemic Symptoms (stomach hurts, back hurts, head hurts, legs hurt): As shown in the candida Q&A regarding the 8-year-old, these symptoms occur when detoxification is happening but bacteria and enzyme activity are insufficient. "When enough bacteria and enzymes are present, detoxification occurs without notice, or at least with minimal notice." These are not candida symptoms, they are symptoms of the detoxification process itself. "It is not the cause of disease." Candida is doing the work of cleansing; the symptoms are from the toxins being liberated, not from the candida organism.
Greenish or Yellowish Discharge Color: Green indicates fungal in nature; if iridescent green, specifically fungal. Yellow indicates bacterial.
Recurrence: A pattern of recurring infections is not evidence of chronic disease, it is evidence that the body continues to have toxic loads to process and continues using the yeast/fungus janitors to do so.
---
Food Protocol
The general candida protocol establishes the dietary foundation: "Eating a raw diet that contains regular meals, small quantities of Nut Formula or some cooked starch with plenty of raw fat eliminates the excess adrenaline and insulin levels. Eating raw tomatoes, nonsteamed figs, fresh vegetable juices, especially green, and raw unpasteurized apple cider vinegar alkalizes and soothes tissues and reverses the toxic condition."
---
"Vaginal yeast infection: All of the above applies."
Additionally, the following specific formulas are provided:
Formula 1, Egg/Honey/Banana Drink: "Drinking 2–3 raw eggs blended with 2–3 tablespoons unheated honey and ½ unripe banana provides the vagina with a constant supply of healthy nutrients to build mucus that flushes and removes toxicity with the help of smaller colonies of yeast (less itching, too)."
Purpose: This formula specifically builds long-fibered, protein-rich vaginal mucus that both reduces itching (smaller yeast colonies needed) and flushes and removes toxicity. The banana is specified as unripe, this is important because ripe banana has more sugar that feeds yeast unnecessarily.
---
Formula 2, Low Mucus / Milkshake Variant: For women with low mucus formation in the vaginal area, plain milk is not enough. A milkshake format is required: "If you have a low mucus formation in the vaginal area, you need to do it with a milkshake, not with plain milk. So have egg in it and a little extra cream with the milk because the body cannot form a lot of mucus simply with milk. It takes egg and extra cream with it."
---
"Eating raw fish and/or raw fowl 3–4 times weekly strengthens the tissues and replaces destroyed nerve tissue and skin, increasing sensuality."
This is specifically recommended for vaginal yeast infection, raw fish and raw fowl rebuild the vaginal tissues that have been damaged and consumed during the detox cycle, and support nerve tissue regeneration.
---
A general detoxification formula referenced in connection with clearing toxic loads (including those underlying yeast infections): "Blend two to three raw eggs, one to three tablespoons of unheated honey and one to two tablespoons of unsalted raw butter with either an orange or a banana. That mix is a panacea that speeds detoxification. It cleanses and binds with the toxins that cause symptoms. It helps you feel better through the detoxification."
---
Three douching options are provided for eliminating discomfort:
Option 1, Raw Apple Cider Vinegar Douche: ½ tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar mixed in 4 ounces of water.
Option 2, Raw Kefir Douche: 4 ounces plain raw kefir.
Option 3, Urine Douche: 3 ounces of your own urine.
These are listed as alternatives for eliminating discomfort (not eliminating the yeast infection itself, which should be allowed to run its cycle).
---
Multiple topical applications are recommended specifically to mitigate itching while allowing the yeast to continue its work:
Coconut cream: Applied to the labial area. "Putting coconut cream on that area, maybe sporting a little kefir or yogurt. And the women who have yeast infections will, you know, soothe that whole area and reduce the itching, but not the yeast infection which is cleaning the system."
Kefir or yogurt: Applied topically to soothe and reduce itching.
Cream and ginger moisturizer: For when toxins are passing through the skin. "Take three and a half ounces of cream, juice ginger to get one tablespoon. So, it's one tablespoon to three and a half ounces of raw cream. Blend that for about ten seconds and put it on your skin. If you have good, thick cream, then it'll whip into a whipped cream and it's just like putting a cosmetic cream on."
Primal Facial Body Care Cream: Referenced on. Applied topically to help skin where toxins are passing through. Assists with the drying and flaking caused by yeast waste products exiting through the skin.
Note on applying the cream to address honey-related itching flare-ups: "You put Candida and honey together, they die. Candida dies... But what sometimes happens is when people are eating honey they assimilate their proteins better and guess what gets thrown off? Sugar byproducts. Feeds the yeast in the skin. So it makes you feel like the honey is made in Candida worse. But what it does is it makes it better in getting rid of the tissue... Apply [the Primal Facial Body Care cream] and as they pass through, you have the itchy and the flaky and the dryness resulting from it. So, if you have enough fats with it... it's not going to drive you crazy."
---
Aajonus references a specific formula he created, used as a last resort when itching cannot be tolerated: "If you can't control the itching and it's so bad, then you can use that lime juice formula to help mitigate the situation. Otherwise I created that formula mainly to get rid of fungus from vaccines, from antibiotics, including penicillin."
He cautions: "It's always best to go through your fungus, your yeast infection. Just do the things that mitigate it so you can go through your day without the itching." The goal is mitigation of symptoms, not elimination of the yeast process.
---
Raw apple cider vinegar is recommended internally for candida/yeast conditions: "I usually use it just as a medicine to alkalinize somebody, especially if they are a hyperactive person and if they have candida... they have stored a lot of acidity in their body."
The mechanism: Raw apple cider vinegar "will go in and it's 'like attracts like'; it will start destroying it [the candida pockets]... Eating up those pockets, pools of..." [pooled toxic tissue].
An old remedy mentioned with approval: "An old healing remedy, apple cider vinegar, honey and water every day, a couple of tablespoons."
The key distinction: Raw apple cider vinegar is beneficial. Pasteurized vinegar is the problem, which is why conventional candida diets that say "no vinegar of any kind" are misguided according to Aajonus. The raw form is "like the honey. In its raw form, it's okay. And the candida won't feed on it."
---
Honey is protective and actively destructive to candida: "Candida does not live on honey. You put Candida and honey together, they die. Candida dies. Like that."
However, honey indirectly may appear to worsen skin-level symptoms temporarily because it improves protein assimilation, which throws off more sugar byproducts that feed yeast in the skin. This is a short-term worsening that represents deeper improvement.
---
In a case involving a client with simultaneous sinus problems and vaginal pain, Aajonus directed: "I suggest that you consume the clay with milk as originally suggested."
---
In a specific Q&A response where a woman had vaginal/ovarian pain rated 9/10, yellowish discharge, itching and burning: "I suggest that you peel an average-sized refrigerated tomato and one medium cucumber and blend them together with 1 T. lemon juice..." [passage truncated, but this formula was prescribed].
---
"You can neutralize it [foul odor] with some kefir. Take care of the odor a little bit and reduce the odor. But you want to remove those poisons." Kefir is suitable both as a douche (4 ounces) and topically.
---
For a woman whose vaginal yeast infections were triggered by every sexual encounter and who had tried all other remedies: "As a last resort, she tried an Ayurvedic medical method: she drank her first urine of each day for several weeks. Within two weeks, the recurring infections completely ceased."
This is the most extreme protocol in the source material and is presented as a last resort only after the other methods had been tried and had mitigated (but not completely resolved) the condition.
---
In the context of candida with systemic symptoms: "I also recommend that you have about eight eggs a day." This supports tissue repair, mucus formation, and provides the raw fat needed to buffer the drying varitoxins produced by fungus.
---
For someone with extensive yeast involvement and dried, damaged tissue: "When raw butter is available, you need a stick a day. You just need everything lubricated and stabilized."
---
"Eat lots of chicken, you know, when it comes to that, lots of chicken and beef. And just a little bit of fish just to keep you alkalinized."
---
What to Avoid
- iCoffee:
Identified as "the worst cause of yeast infections." Must be eliminated.
- iiAntibiotics and penicillin:
The primary cause of non-dietary yeast/fungal conditions. "Most often found that antibiotics were the cause." Taking antibiotics for yeast infections perpetuates the cycle.
- iiiMedications to destroy yeast/candida:
"Medication poisons the already toxic and hardened tissue, causing it to remain toxic and hardened. If your goal is to improve your health, the worst thing you can do is to destroy a yeast infection with medications." This is stated unequivocally and repeatedly.
- ivCooked carbohydrates, breads, pastas, pizzas, potatoes:
These continue to damage tissue with sugar byproducts and directly feed the yeast. "The people who keep eating that stuff, breads and pastas and, you know, pizzas are feeding those fungus."
- vFruit (for active candida):
"For somebody with candida, I say just forget fruit. Somebody who has allergies, that exhibits allergies to sweets, cut out the fruit. Don't need it." Yeasts feed on all sugars, including fruit sugars.
- viCold milk:
Cold milk causes undigested lactate to be absorbed into the bloodstream, which then gets routed to the vaginal canal where yeast must break it down in the tissues, directly causing vaginal yeast infections. The solution is to drink milk at room temperature, or warm the cold milk in the mouth before swallowing.
- vii
- viiiAlcohol-based fermented foods:
In one passage regarding fermented dairy and mucous membranes, Aajonus notes: "All other fermented foods have so much alcohol that the mucous lining membranes are thinned or completely lost, creating more gut problems." This specifically pertains to fermented foods that are tangy with alcohol.
- ixPasteurized vinegar:
Unlike raw apple cider vinegar, pasteurized vinegar is a problem and should be avoided.
- xSmoking:
"Smoking puts a person at higher risk of developing Candida." Direct causal link established.
- xiChemical douches, spermicides, lubricants, birth control pills:
"Spermicides, lubricants, birth control pills and chemical douches absorbed into vaginal and uterine walls cause poor mucus formation and/or production, and nerve damage." These create the conditions of dryness and poor mucus formation that make the vaginal tissues vulnerable.
- xiiNutritional yeast (processed/heated):
Not recommended. "It's all processed and very heated." Only raw nutritional yeast grown on whey that never exceeded 92°F was considered beneficial.
- xiiiDestroying the yeast process prematurely with the lime juice formula:
Even the formula Aajonus created should only be used to mitigate, not eliminate. "It's always best to go through your fungus, your yeast infection." Destroying it entirely means the damaged tissue remains in the body uncleared. Use the formula 1 day a week, 2 days a week maximum, "until it settles."

Recovery Timeline
Short-term symptom mitigation: Symptoms can be significantly mitigated on the Primal Diet relatively quickly. "People who have candida that do the diet anywhere from 95 to 100% have no symptoms. Maybe a little itching once in a while in one particular area, but that's it. No other symptoms. No fatigue that goes along with it. No irritability. No intense rashes."
Complete abatement of symptoms (not recurrence): "Usually from nine months to a year and three months, where they won't have a recurrence."
Complete elimination from the body: "I'd say the about the shortest period of time for it to be completely gone from the body was about three years and eight months. The longest about six years and three months."
The distinction is crucial: symptoms can be dramatically reduced within months, but the underlying stored sugars, damaged tissues, and chemical residues that necessitate the yeast's work may take years to fully clear.
Why it takes so long: "People are used to eating a lot of cooked starch... A lot of potatoes in their lifetime, a lot of breads in their lifetime. So they've got all that starch. And what does Candida feed on? Sugars. So these are toxic sugars in their system... And if they continue on a bad diet, it just keeps storing." Even when the diet is corrected, the stored residues from a lifetime of eating take years to process.
The general toxin timeline: In response to a case of recurring vaginosis, Aajonus notes: "You have a tremendous amount of toxins stored in your body and it takes about 40 years to..." [passage truncates], suggesting that for a heavily toxic individual, the full detoxification arc is measured in decades.
The adrenaline dump phase: After the main candida work is resolved, the adrenaline toxicity stored in tissues can cause periodic flare-ups. "Usually the candida is never a problem again. Usually I can take care of that and they are never really bothered by the candida. A little itching once in a while. But that adrenalin toxicity that can come out. It can cause them to get nauseous, irritable again. Anxious. Become very un-nice again. So they will have periods where they just think everything is back the way it was."
Note on probiotic supplements: "I've found that when you get into that, you are going to throw one thing one way and another thing the other way. No matter how many...", Aajonus does not use probiotic formulas or supplements to build friendly bacteria. The raw diet itself provides the microbiological environment necessary.

Questions Aajonus Answered
- Direct Questions from Seminars and Correspondence
---
Q: My vaginosis returned and it's worse than before (I've been real diligent on the raw diet and keeping up with it!). It's not a yeast infection, but a bacterial infection. Since the vagina and anus are close, when I passed gas some of it went into my vagina (I immediately felt it). At this time, my vagina, hips, legs, and bladder are hurting me a lot. I need to know what the best solution is for this problem.
Aajonus, April 1, 2011: "The gas is an indication that you are discharging chemicals. Gas does not transport bacteria. Whether a fungus (yeast) or bacteria, any discomfort is the result of detoxification. You have a tremendous amount of toxins stored in your body and it takes about 40 years to..." [truncated]
---
Q (Follow-up, March 2013): I have a complicated situation in regards to milk and the vagina problem. I have a serious sinus problem and I read in your book not to drink milk when you have this condition and at the same time my vagina problem returned and in addition I've vomited several times. My stomach has been acting up also. Should I continue taking Terramin clay with kefir while I have this sinus condition? I have started douching again with the ingredients you suggested. The milk is the issue.
Aajonus, March 25, 2013: "I need as much detail as possible: I need the how, where and how much of the following: feelings of pain, itching and/or burning, coloration, rashes, odors, what time of day, any foods that negatively alter your experience, anything you experience I need to know, please."
[After receiving details that the pain/itching/burning was rated 9/10, discharge was yellowish, odor present, foods that negatively alter experience included milk, honey and possibly cheese; sinus pain rated 8/10, experiencing vomiting:]
Aajonus, March 25, 2013: "Please describe odor. Is the yellow mucous-like or thin or granular or a combination?"
Aajonus, March 26, 2013: "I suggest that you peel an average-sized refrigerated tomato and one medium cucumber and blend them together with 1 T. lemon juice..." [continues with prescription].
---
Q (Follow-up, June 2012): My vagina and uterus have been in excruciating pain. I have a hard time walking and my body is bent forward. This has to do with the bacteria and gas (from the anus) which entered my vagina and I know is why I am in a lot of pain. I've been taking the clay internally but the pain continues. You mentioned a couple of years ago about douching with lemon and lime. If so, what would be the measurements, and do I dilute it? What should I do?
Aajonus, June 2012: "Sorry you are experiencing pain. I suggest that you consume the clay with milk as originally suggested." [Additional details not fully preserved in the passage.]
---
Q: My 8-year-old daughter has candida again. She had it last summer and was free of it for September through December. The candida has come back. Her symptoms are: stomach hurts, back hurts, head hurts and legs hurt. A local chiropractor suggested warm baths in Epsom salt to detoxify and to relax the muscles. Is Epsom salt okay to use? What should she be eating? Any other thoughts about candida?
Aajonus, February 3, 2012: "Candida is the big scapegoat for the last 1+ decade. Candida is a symptom and the cure for certain problems. The object is to allow candida to work while mitigating the symptoms, which is usually intense itching."
[On Epsom salt baths:] A bath formula was given including raw apple cider vinegar, 2 T. sun-dried sea or Epsom salt and 2 T. coconut cream. "Epsom salt is a high concentration of magnesium and sulfur rather than sodium and natural chlorine. It does not matter which you use because, when in a hot bath, the salts are not absorbed into the skin."
---
Q: Please explain to me what you mean by poor bacteria and enzyme activity causing the flu-like symptoms. You say that these are not symptoms of candida, but my daughter feels this way when the candida is present. When the candida is gone she does not hurt. How can she have poor bacteria and enzyme activity when we eat so clean? We eat lots of good bacteria-type foods.
Aajonus: "When enough bacteria and enzymes are present, detoxification occurs without notice, or at least with minimal notice. Did you have a laboratory test that showed unusual amounts of candida? As I stated in Newsletter #11, candida is a detoxification process, part of the cure for toxins that have been stored and that are problematic. It is not the cause of disease. As I stated in my email to you, the optimal-to-health approach is to provide the right foods and heat. Our environment is riddled with bacteria and enzyme-damaging technologies, anything from smart meters to WiFi to EMFs and air pollution. I have one client who is so allergic to agricultural chemicals that every time her neighbor applies chemicals to his lawn, she has to stay in a toxic hotel for 3–5 days."
---
Q [From early training]: Why can candida be very difficult to resolve?
Aajonus: "Well, people are used to eating a lot of cooked starch, whether it's vegetable or grain. A lot of potatoes in their lifetime, a lot of breads in their lifetime. So they've got all that starch. And what does Candida feed on? Sugars. So these are toxic sugars in their system. The Candida is trying to break that stuff down and get rid of it. So if they have been heavy starch eaters, heavy pizza eaters, potatoes, any kind of eater like that, and they haven't been able to break the sugars down well, then those sugars have a tendency to mold or rot or ferment in their system. You can smell somebody who is slightly fermenting. Under their skin they have a fermentation smell. Or it has a moldy smell to it. Those starches are breaking down. Candida is just one of the elements that the body uses... And if they continue on a bad diet, it just keeps storing."

Q [From early training]: Do you have a person go and get a blood test to see whether they have candida or not actively per the blood test?
Aajonus: "No, I can tell."
Q: How can you tell?
Aajonus: "Their skin will have little red splotches on it like I told you yesterday. They have very sensitive skin. They have a tendency to have perspiration in the crotch that smells alcoholic, and I just ask them. Because most people do touch themselves and smell it. It's just an animal thing. And whether they know it consciously or not, there are messages that are going when they are doing it."
He also identifies visual signs in the forearm: "If this kind of splotches is in here in the skin and it has a dryness, but yet it's still a little watery and looks like it's have little sores, irritation, I read that as candida or some other yeast that's active."
And the elbow area: "Arthritis, rheumatism, lupus, candida. And if I look for candida, I look for it in here [the elbow crease area]. Because this is so active. Usually you have lots of yeast flowing in this area... If it's dry and inflamed and little splotchy marks."
---
Q [From seminar]: If I got really disciplined, like 80, 90, 100%, how quickly can I hope for the candida to go away?
Aajonus: "Well, it's not going to go away for years because your cells are damaged with carbohydrate byproducts. But the symptoms will be much mitigated. People who have candida that do the diet anywhere from 95 to 100% have no symptoms. Maybe a little itching once in a while in one particular area, but that's it. No other symptoms. No fatigue that goes along with it. No irritability. No intense rashes."
---
Q [From seminar]: Should I avoid milk right now?
Aajonus: "I would avoid milk. Not completely, but if y..." [truncated], with the implicit context that in certain cases with active candida, especially if cold milk was being consumed, milk is reduced or transitioned to fermented forms.
Additional guidance: "If you're a high carbohydrate eater... this will cause toxic mold and yeast to get out, to throw out the skin. So, milk would have to be more fermented, like kefir or yogurt, so you wouldn't have a reaction to it. Cold milk would be poison for an individual like this... He needs the bacteria, yeah, to grow. Otherwise he's going to produce a yeast to deal with it. The yeast is not as good as a lactobacillus, I mean acidophilus."

Q [From early training, on apple cider vinegar and candida diets]: Apple cider vinegar for candida. On a candida diet generally there is no vinegar of any kind. That's what they say.
Aajonus: "Because it's pasteurized and a problem."
Q: So, it's like the honey. In its raw form, it's okay? And the candida won't feed on it?
Aajonus: "No, because it will go in and it's 'like attracts like'; it will start destroying it. Eating up those pockets, pools of [toxic tissue]."
Q: So that's another thing that a candida person should have, plenty of apple cider vinegar.
Aajonus: "It's in the book, I'm sure."

Q [From seminar]: Does environmental toxins give a woman a vaginal infection?
Aajonus: "A vaginal infection could be caused by environmental toxins. Absolutely. They can cause disease anywhere. If your body decides to throw that waste off because you're not taking it out through the skin and perspiration, you're not dumping it in your lungs or sinuses with mucus, they throw it off in the mucus of your vaginal area."
Follow-up: If a woman, let's say, doesn't want to wear panties for a day but wants air out down there, could she still get a vaginal infection because of the air?
Aajonus: "No. Only the toxins in the body. The toxins that go through and dump through that canal."
Follow-up: What about outdoor air vs. indoor air?
Aajonus: "No. Let's say you've got formaldehyde in your vent system like you do in movie theaters and malls. You hang out in the mall and you're going to get toxic. That'll cause, but that's still environmental, but it's not going to be necessarily directly. Chloroform and formaldehyde..." [continues about environmental toxins routing to vaginal canal].
