Infertility, in Aajonus's framework, is not a disease in the conventional sense, it is a nutritional failure. It is the body's inability to produce viable sperm or healthy ova because the raw materials required to do so are either absent, depleted, or contaminated. The reproductive system, the gonads, the ovaries and testicles, is, in Aajonus's framework, an emergency system. It is not something the body runs continuously. The gonads produce testosterone and estrogen primarily for the purpose of reproduction: building ovum and sperm. These hormones are not meant to be circulating constantly as daily-use energy hormones, and they are not the structural maintainers of bone density as conventional medicine claims. When the body does not have sufficient nutrients, the right proteins, fats, and hormones, to build and sustain viable reproductive cells, infertility is the result.
Aajonus's Definition
Aajonus is emphatic that this is a nutritional problem, not a hormonal deficiency problem requiring pharmaceutical intervention. He states clearly: "It is your food that makes the difference in your functionality, not drugs, not hormone replacement. It's all tactics to make money and to keep you just as confused and to keep you buying." The body cannot manufacture high-quality sperm or eggs without the raw materials, particularly raw fats, raw proteins, and the full range of bioavailable nutrients present only in raw foods.
From the generational standpoint, Aajonus frames infertility as part of a predictable, progressive deterioration caused by cooked and processed food across generations. Citing Francis Pottenger's work with cats and similar research with rats by Howl, Aajonus explains that by the third generation on cooked food, animals began to become infertile. By the fourth generation, all diseases began breaking down. By the fifth generation, there was no reproduction at all, the species became locally extinct. He draws a direct parallel to human civilization: "How much infertility is popping up now? I mean, in the last 10 years, infertility is the big new business. Third generation." He sees the modern infertility epidemic as precisely the third-generation effect predicted by Pottenger's experiments.
He also distinguishes between male and female infertility causes, and addresses the quality of both sperm and ova separately. For men, toxic heavy metal contamination of the testes, which are fat-rich tissue and therefore preferential storage sites for fat-soluble toxins, is a primary factor degrading sperm quality. For women, insufficient mucus quality in the vaginal canal, thin protein fibers, and depletion of the body's nutrient reserves are central factors. Both conditions are correctable with diet, specifically the Primal Diet.
---
Root Cause
Aajonus identifies multiple interlocking root causes of infertility, all operating within his framework of nutritional deficiency caused by cooked and processed food, toxic accumulation from industrial chemicals and heavy metals, and the multi-generational depletion of the human body's baseline health.
Cause 1: Nutritional Deficiency, Absent Raw Building Materials
The most fundamental cause of infertility in Aajonus's framework is the simple absence of the raw nutrients needed to build reproductive cells. He explains that testosterone and estrogen are produced by the gonads for the purpose of manufacturing sperm and ova. If the body does not have adequate raw protein, raw fat, and bioavailable minerals, available only from raw food sources, it cannot produce these hormones in sufficient quality or quantity to sustain reproductive function. He explicitly links the case of couples unable to conceive for six to sixteen years to this dietary deficiency, and documents that conception occurred within one month to one year of starting the Primal Diet.
He notes that the body requires an extraordinary investment of the finest nutrients it can produce to make sperm and eggs. From the early training transcripts: "The drain of nutrients, the amount of hormones, proteins, fats that are lost and the finest that the body can utilize will be used there." This is why nutrient-depleted individuals on cooked food diets eventually cannot produce viable reproductive cells.
Cause 2: Heavy Metal Contamination of the Testes
The testes, being fat-rich organs, preferentially store fat-soluble toxins, especially heavy metals such as mercury, aluminum, and other caustic metals. Aajonus explains this clearly: "Our bodies normally store toxins in fat, wherever it may be found. If sperm smells metallic... it's very heavy metal toxic." This metallic contamination does not merely reduce sperm count, it produces sperm that is functionally toxic. He warns against consuming or applying such sperm because it would introduce heavy metals into the body. He says: "If a man's got testicles full of mercury and heavy metals and the sperm smells like metals, it's not going to be very good sperm to use."
The mechanism of toxin storage in the testes is consistent with Aajonus's broader framework in which the body stores toxins it cannot eliminate in fat deposits throughout the body, the testes being one such location.
Cause 3: Insufficient Mucus Quality in the Vaginal Canal
For women, Aajonus identifies thin or short protein fiber mucus in the vaginal cavity as a direct cause of failure to sustain sperm viability and, downstream, failure to maintain pregnancy. He explains that the mucus in the vaginal cavity is built from protein fibers, and these fibers must be long and robust to create what he describes as a "mush like a screen", a protective, stable environment. When these protein fibers are too short, which results from insufficient raw protein consumption, the mucus is thin and cannot sustain the conditions needed for conception or early pregnancy. He notes: "A lot of women will have too thin of mucus in the vaginal cavity." He also identifies that proper mucus at fertility time should be observable, when fertile and healthy, vaginal mucus can be stretched from the finger to considerable length, which is a visible sign of adequate long protein fiber content.
He also specifically addresses mucus instability during pregnancy as a cause of miscarriage: "Eating raw eggs (as in milk shakes and smoothies) for 5 days, then not eating eggs for 2 days, and repeating this cycle helps build and sustain the strong stable mucus needed to maintain pregnancy."
Cause 4: Low or Absent Testosterone/Estrogen Due to Dietary Depletion
Aajonus references the case of a woman who was chronically low in testosterone or estrogen and had therefore lost sexual drive and reproductive capacity. He specifically cites the example of gorillas and their dietary pattern: gorillas eat meat every 28 days, consuming 13 to 28 pounds of meat from slaughtered antelope in a 24-hour to three-day window, while spending the remaining 28 days as fruitarian/vegetarian. He connects this to human testes being "active in emergency situations, not normally" and to the idea that without adequate protein intake, specifically the proteins that come from meat, the gonads cannot produce sufficient hormones for reproduction. He says: "You are absent and low in testosterone or estrogen, and that's your problem."
He does acknowledge that hormone therapy can sometimes reverse infertility and cause pregnancy, but he is adamant this is not the correct solution: "When they pump that into a person and it does reverse infertility, and a person can't have a baby, is that really the problem? No." He immediately pivots to demonstrate with the case of the three couples at Dayton, Ohio, that dietary intervention achieved what years and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fertility clinic treatments could not.
Cause 5: Multi-Generational Cooked Food Consumption
Drawing directly from Pottenger's cat experiments and the parallel rat experiments by Howl, Aajonus presents infertility as an inevitable outcome of multi-generational cooked food consumption. The progression he describes is: - Generation 1 on cooked food: initial disease states appear - Generation 2: disease worsens - Generation 3: infertility begins, "started becoming infertile" - Generation 4: all diseases break down completely - Generation 5 (and beyond): no reproduction, extinction
He frames current human infertility as the third-generation consequence: we are now in the generation that experienced the explosion of infertility as a "new big business" because their grandparents' generation was among the first to adopt fully industrialized, processed, and cooked food diets at scale.
He also notes that Pottenger's experiments showed partial reversibility: "When they took the healthy animals, I mean the diseased animals, and put them on good diets, the same raw diets the animals had before...", implying that returning to raw food can reverse the trajectory, though he does not specify how many generations of recovery are required.
Cause 6: Ammonia from Urine Killing Sperm
While primarily addressed in the context of birth control, Aajonus's detailed analysis of the pre-ejaculatory fluid is relevant to male infertility. He explains that the pre-flow before ejaculation exists specifically to clean urine residue out of the urethra, because the ammonia produced by the kidneys and present in urine will kill sperm, and not only kill them, but paralyze all remaining sperm: "The ammonia that is created by the kidneys will kill sperm. It will not just kill them, it will kill part of them and completely paralyze all the rest. So, sperm can't swim if they live from the urine." He analyzed pre-secretions from at least 20 men and found that all pre-ejaculatory fluid contained urine residue. This mechanism means that if this flushing process is inadequate, or if the urethra is chronically inflamed or damaged, the sperm that does travel through it may be immobilized before it can reach the egg.
He also found, through his own Petri dish observation, that his sperm, after 35+ years of eating raw food, lived 1 to 5 days rather than the conventional 0 to 3 days. This is presented as evidence that raw food diet produces qualitatively superior sperm with greater longevity and therefore better capacity to fertilize an egg.
Cause 7: Pharmaceutical Drugs, Hormone Therapies, and Chemotherapy
Aajonus references studies in which women who underwent hormonal therapy as well as chemotherapy showed changes to their basal ganglia, "where brain function bridges thought and action." He presents this as evidence that the conventional medical treatment for infertility, hormonal therapy, itself causes neurological damage and does not address the root cause. He also notes that every drug alters genetic structure or weakens the DNA and RNA of some young cells, which is directly relevant to reproductive health since both sperm and ova depend on intact DNA/RNA.
Cause 8: IUD Damage and Surgical Interventions
Though not labeled infertility per se, Aajonus documents the case of Susan, whose IUD had punctured through her uterus and was floating in her abdomen, which the doctor said could require uterine removal. Aajonus intervened to prevent the hysterectomy. He frames IUDs as "a foreign object" that causes ongoing damage to the uterus. Caesarean sections are also presented as severely damaging to future fertility and reproductive function: "Caesarean section, that is, surgical removal of child through the abdomen, severs the connections between the mother's spinal cord and her brain, and severs the blood and lymph circulation to vital abdominal areas, including uterus, while scarring nerves, veins, lymph, muscles and skin. Consequently, sensation for sexual pleasure and control over motor responses and hormone productions are drastically reduced, usually ill-effecting a woman for the remainder of her life."
---
Why This Happens
Infertility sits primarily within the Cooked Food / Root Cause / Terrain Theory principles of Aajonus's framework, with secondary relevance to the Raw Food and How to Eat.
- Cooked Food: The generational infertility epidemic is directly caused by multi-generational consumption of cooked and processed food, as demonstrated by Pottenger and Howl. This is the macro-level cause.
- Root Cause / Terrain Theory: At the individual level, infertility is caused by a terrain that lacks the raw nutritional inputs needed to manufacture viable sperm and ova, the terrain cannot support reproduction. Heavy metal contamination of the testes, thin mucus from protein deficiency, and absence of raw fats and proteins are all terrain-level failures.
- Raw Food: The solution is entirely dietary, raw milk, raw eggs, raw meat. These are the only foods that provide the bioavailable building materials for reproductive cells.
- How to Eat: The specific protocols, milkshakes twice daily, eggs cycling (5 days on, 2 days off), vegetable juices, and raw meat, represent the practical dietary prescription.
- Sovereignty: Aajonus frames the fertility clinic industry as a profit-driven system that exploits nutritionally-caused infertility by selling hormone therapies and procedures rather than teaching people to eat properly. He frames the couples spending tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars at fertility clinics when simple dietary changes achieved pregnancy in one month as a profound example of institutional deception.

Symptoms Reframed
Low Testosterone / Low Estrogen
Conventional medicine frames low sex hormones as a disease requiring pharmaceutical supplementation. Aajonus reframes this as the body's natural response to nutritional insufficiency, the gonads simply cannot produce hormones without the raw materials to do so. The body is not malfunctioning; it is responding correctly to absent inputs. The solution is not to inject synthetic hormones but to provide the food that allows the body to produce its own.
He explicitly states: "You don't have to have a high testosterone level to have a sexual appetite. Sexual appetite is normal and healthy." He distinguishes between genuine reproductive hormone production (which requires adequate nutrition) and artificially elevated testosterone or estrogen, which he says is often produced in response to toxic food and chemicals creating an "over-sexual desire", which is not health but a stress response.
No Sexual Drive
Rather than framing absent libido as requiring testosterone therapy or pharmaceutical stimulation, Aajonus frames it as a nutritional signal. He notes that in natural conditions, animals do not have constant sexual drive, males in all species only become sexually active when the female goes into heat. Constant sexual drive is itself a symptom of toxicity: "You feed them right, all of a sudden they stop that behavior after a year or two." The restoration of normal, appropriate sexual drive and function follows dietary repair.
Thin Vaginal Mucus / Short Protein Fibers
Aajonus reframes the symptom of insufficient lubrication and thin vaginal secretions as a direct protein deficiency, specifically, the protein fibers that build the vaginal mucus are too short because the woman is not consuming adequate raw protein. This thin mucus is not only uncomfortable (causing yeast infections, irritation, and rupturing of mucus membranes during friction) but is also a direct cause of infertility and miscarriage, because it cannot maintain the environment needed for sperm viability or embryo implantation.
The diagnostic test he offers is simple and observable: "When you're fertile, the mucus, you can put the mucus in your finger and it will stretch anywhere from...", if it does not stretch into long, elastic strands, the protein fibers are insufficient.
Failure to Conceive After Years of Trying
Rather than attributing this to structural problems, genetic abnormalities, or age-related decline as the primary cause, Aajonus reframes years-long infertility as a straightforward consequence of what the couple has been eating. His most striking case presentations involve couples who had spent 8, 11, and 16 years trying to conceive, spending $50,000 to $200,000 at fertility clinics, and who conceived within one to twelve months simply by adopting the Primal Diet, primarily through milkshakes.
Age-Related Infertility
Aajonus does not fully accept age as the primary limiting factor in fertility, particularly for women. He states: "Women on this diet have gotten pregnant all the way through 59 years old who had not been able to get pregnant for years and some never." He does acknowledge that the body requires a recovery period, approximately 2.5 years on the Primal Diet before it has sufficiently cleared residues to support a healthy pregnancy, but frames this as a timeline of healing, not a biological ceiling.
---
Food Protocol
Aajonus's dietary protocol for infertility is built around raw dairy, raw eggs, raw meat, and specifically the milkshake, which he references in virtually every case study of successful conception.
---
The raw milkshake is Aajonus's central recommendation for reversing infertility in both men and women. He mentions it consistently across multiple case studies: couples conceiving within one month of starting primarily on milkshakes, sometimes with nothing else added. The milkshake consists of:
- Raw eggs
- Raw milk
- Sometimes honey
He describes one couple who "did all of the milkshakes, two milkshakes a day, and we drank some vegetable juice. We had extra eggs, and mainly did the dairy, and we got pregnant", after 11 years of infertility and failed fertility clinic treatments.
Another couple, after 16 years of infertility and $200,000 spent at fertility clinics, "started with milkshakes. The couple was pregnant in one month. One month. Just on the milkshakes. The raw eggs and the raw milk."
Two milkshakes per day is the quantity specified. He notes: "Consuming 2 milkshakes daily 10 days before ovulation usually will produce healthy ova." This suggests a targeted protocol in the pre-ovulation window, not just a general background dietary practice, though the broader case studies suggest ongoing daily consumption.
---
Aajonus specifies a particular cycling protocol for raw eggs aimed at building and sustaining the strong, stable mucus needed both for conception and to maintain pregnancy:
- Eat raw eggs for 5 days
- Do not eat eggs for 2 days
- Repeat this cycle
This cycling builds and sustains the strong stable mucus needed to maintain pregnancy. He says: "Eating raw eggs (as in milk shakes and smoothies) for 5 days, then not eating eggs for 2 days, and repeating this cycle helps build and sustain the strong stable mucus needed to maintain pregnancy."
---
For insufficient mucus quality at fertility time, Aajonus offers a specific topical intervention: "Occasionally, simply douching with a raw fertile egg at fertility time will suffice." This is presented as a direct intervention to improve the local vaginal environment when the mucus quality remains insufficient, which he states may result in miscarriage if not corrected during pregnancy.
---
Raw meat is explicitly included in the dietary picture for restoring fertility. The broader case studies note that couples who included raw meat along with milkshakes and dairy experienced the full reversal of infertility. He references the gorilla's dietary pattern, eating meat every 28 days in large quantities (13–28 pounds in 24 hours), as illustrating the necessity of meat-derived protein for activating the testes and producing testosterone. He says that in animals: "When the female goes into heat, she's producing her eggs. Then a man, through smell, all of a sudden his testes start working, he produces testosterone to get active and to impregnate those eggs." Without the protein from meat, this hormonal cascade does not have its building blocks.
He states in the broader fertility context: "I have had clients who had not been able to get pregnant for up to 16 years. They became impregnated after two years or less on a healthy raw diet that included raw meat."
---
Raw vegetable juice is mentioned alongside milkshakes and dairy in the successful infertility reversal cases. One couple specifically mentions "we drank some vegetable juice" as part of their protocol. It is not specified as the primary driver but as a supporting element of the overall raw diet.
---
In the context of hormonal depletion and gonadal function, Aajonus describes making a gland shake containing: - Brain - Adrenal glands - Ovaries - Lung - Thymus - Thyroid - Pancreas (some portion) - Blended in approximately half milk - A tiny bit of honey - Made in approximately three-cup batches
He consumed approximately three-quarters of a quart (three cups) during preparation of a slaughtered deer. He reports significant energy and sexual vitality after consuming this. The gland shake is presented as a potent way to directly provide the hormone precursors and glandular materials that the body needs to restore reproductive and endocrine function.
---
In a context adjacent to infertility (stem cell regeneration and tissue repair), Aajonus notes that healthy sperm can be applied to the skin for regenerative purposes. He specifies that only sperm that does not smell metallic is suitable for this use, it should smell "slightly gamey, like let's say a little off dairy." Sperm that smells like iron, hot metal, or cooked metals contains heavy metal contamination and must not be used topically or swallowed.
---
He states: "Eating a balanced raw diet helps support stable pregnancy." This encompasses all elements of the Primal Diet as foundational support.
---
While primarily a pregnancy protocol, Aajonus states that a pregnant woman needs to eat cheese every half hour to absorb poisons so they do not enter the baby. He frames the placenta as the baby's liver until birth, and the cheese as continuous toxin-binding protection. This is most relevant post-conception but is part of the continuum of care.

What to Avoid
- iCooked Food, Most Fundamental Avoidance
- ii
The entirety of the infertility problem, at its deepest level, is caused by cooked and processed food. Pottenger's experiments demonstrated that cooked food across generations produces infertility. All cooked and processed foods should be eliminated. This is the foundational avoidance.
- iiiPharmaceutical Hormone Therapy
- iv
Aajonus is explicit that hormone replacement therapy, injecting testosterone or estrogen to reverse infertility, does not address the root cause and introduces synthetic hormones into the body. He frames the entire fertility clinic industry as profit-driven misdirection. While he acknowledges that hormone therapy can sometimes produce pregnancy, he considers it the wrong solution: "When they pump that into a person and it does reverse infertility, and a person can't have a baby, is that really the problem? No."
- vChemotherapy
- vi
Women considering chemotherapy in the context of hormonal therapies are warned that it "showed changes to their basal ganglia, where brain function bridges thought and action." He also notes that "science has not proved chemotherapy any more effective than doing nothing for cancer" and that long-term effects reduce quality of life mentally, physically, emotionally, and possibly spiritually.
- viiDrugs, Antibiotics, and Medications, During Pregnancy and Prior
- viii
"Every drug alters the genetic structure or weakens the DNA and RNA of some young cells. Therefore, it is best not to take medication, especially during pregnancy." He specifically references DES and antibiotics given to mothers during gestation as causing complete destruction of the offspring's digestive tract. He also notes that a woman who smoked, drank, and used drugs during early pregnancy (unaware she was pregnant) completely destroyed the placenta, causing all toxins to enter the baby.
- ixPowdered Milk
- x
Aajonus references Pottenger's work to identify powdered milk as "the fastest way of producing disease", feeding powdered milk to infants produced disease at the fastest rate of any food in Pottenger's experiments. This is directly relevant to infant health after birth.
- xiVaccines
- xii
While addressed primarily in other contexts, vaccines are presented as a cause of severe disease. The antibiotic injections given to premature infants, combined with nutrient-deficient sterilized processed foods through tubes, are identified as producing a diseased state from birth.
- xiiiExcessive Horseradish
- xiv
Specifically warned for women prone to miscarriage: "Too much horseradish may cause mucus to thin and should not be eaten too frequently by women prone to miscarriage, unless they crave it." The craving exception is notable, Aajonus's framework always honors specific food cravings as the body's intelligence, even for foods that might otherwise be problematic.
- xvSexual Intercourse with Orgasm in the Eighth Month
- xvi
"Sexual intercourse with orgasm during the eighth month often makes the blood too rich in hormones for the fetus to properly establish brain functions. Sometimes this results in miscarriage." He adds that "kissing and petting without orgasm are good" and suggests it "might be a sensitive gesture for the man to refrain from having orgasm also."
- xviiCaffeine, Aspirin, Sodas, Teas, Mustard
- xviii
These substances are specifically listed as disturbing "the spermatozoa's swim", they impair sperm motility, which is a direct cause of male-factor infertility.
- xixToxic Sperm from Heavy Metal Contamination
- xx
Aajonus is unequivocal: "If sperm smells like metals, do not swallow them... do not use that sperm." The metallic odor, specifically described as resembling the smell of a hot iron, or cooked metals, or the steam from an iron, indicates the sperm is loaded with caustic heavy metals. "If the sperm smells like that, do not use it. Do not swallow it." He says you could still use it to "fertilize the lawn" if you want, but not for any internal or topical therapeutic application.
- xxiIUDs
- xxii
Aajonus calls the IUD "a foreign object" and documents the case of Susan, whose IUD punctured through her uterus and floated in her abdomen, nearly causing a hysterectomy. He does not recommend IUDs and presents them as directly damaging to uterine tissue.
- xxiiiBlackberries Molding for Specific Duration
- xxiv
In a passage about natural abortifacients: "Blackberries [that] had been molding for no more than, and no less than, 4 weeks" sometimes caused miscarriage, usually within 2 weeks of eating them. This is a precise warning, that specific stage of blackberry mold could cause miscarriage in susceptible women.
- xxvPennyroyal (Abortifacient, Avoid During Pregnancy)
- xxvi
Aajonus documents the abortifacient properties of pennyroyal tincture as a pregnancy termination method, not as something to use for fertility. By extension, pennyroyal should be avoided during pregnancy or when trying to conceive: inserting 1 teaspoon cold-pressed pennyroyal tincture through the cervix and rubbing it vigorously on the uterus usually caused abortion within 6 months of pregnancy (taking up to 21 days with mild cramping). A stronger formula of 2 tablespoons pennyroyal tincture mixed with ¼ cup mineral water inserted into the uterus, lying on back with buttocks raised and holding it in for at least 2 hours (preferably at bedtime), also caused abortion.
- xxviiEjaculation, For Birth Control (Not Applicable to Those Seeking Pregnancy)
- xxviii
Aajonus's birth control teaching, that pregnancy is only possible through ejaculation inside the woman, that pre-ejaculatory fluid does not contain viable sperm due to urine/ammonia content, is primarily relevant as contraception teaching. However, for those seeking pregnancy, understanding this mechanism means ensuring ejaculation inside the woman at the correct fertility window is necessary, and that the urethra must be clear of urine residue for sperm to be viable.

Recovery Timeline
2 to 2.5+ Years on the Primal Diet Before Attempting Pregnancy
Aajonus's most consistently stated timeline is a minimum of 2 to 2.5 years on the Primal Diet before attempting to conceive, to allow the body to clear residues accumulated from prior toxic dietary and environmental exposure: "It takes about 2.5+ years" for the body to clear residues "so that the fetus is unharmed." He states: "I suggest you be patient for that time and you will not have a problem."
This is framed not as the time needed to restore fertility per se, but as the minimum time required to ensure the fetus will be born into a clean enough internal environment. He implies that conception might occur earlier than 2.5 years, but that the quality of the pregnancy and fetal development will be optimal only after that clearing period.
He adds the important pre-ovulation protocol to this timeline: "Then, consuming 2 milkshakes daily 10 days before ovulation usually will produce healthy ova." This is presented as something done within the context of the longer dietary preparation, not a shortcut to be used independently of the 2.5-year foundation.
7 Years Between Pregnancies (Tribal Standard)
For women who have already had a child, Aajonus references the universal tribal standard: "According to ALL tribes, it takes 7 years for the mother to completely recover from her previous child so that a new baby does not suffer any deficiencies except by the mothers diet." He applies this directly to a woman who had been on the Primal Diet and was trying for her third child 5 years after her second: "Therefore, if your body is following nature, you are due to get pregnant after November 2012" (approximately 7 years after the previous child born in November 2005). He frames the fact that she could not conceive for those 5 years as the body's intelligent, natural spacing mechanism, not a failure.
He is consistent in this principle elsewhere: "There's always seven years between babies, so the mother completely recuperates, and the succeeding babies aren't malnourished until the mother is completely recuperated."
Conception as Fast as One Month on the Milkshake Protocol
At the other extreme, Aajonus documents a couple who had been infertile for 16 years, spending $200,000 at fertility clinics, who became pregnant in exactly one month on the Primal Diet, "just on the milkshakes. The raw eggs and the raw milk." This is presented not as a typical timeline but as illustrative of how dramatically and rapidly the diet can work.
Another couple at the same event had been infertile for 8 years, spending $100,000. After hearing about the first couple's success, they started the diet and became pregnant in one month.
A third couple had tried for 5 years, spent $50,000, and also became pregnant within one month.
At the Dayton, Ohio workshop, three couples who had struggled for 6 to 11 years all got pregnant, one in one month, one in three months, and a third within the year.
One to Two Years for Full Fertility Restoration in More Complex Cases
For more complex cases, the timeline extends. One case cited: "I have had clients who had not been able to get pregnant for up to 16 years. They became impregnated after two years or less on a healthy raw diet that included raw meat." Two years is given as the upper end for full fertility restoration even in long-standing, severe infertility cases, though one month is possible in simpler nutritional deficiency cases.
Recovery After Childbirth
Women on the Primal Diet who have had a child still require recovery time. Aajonus says that if a woman has not grown up on a raw food diet and has not been eating a raw food diet for at least 7 years before having a child, "they age 78 years... giving up 7 to 8 years of their lives." He notes that having another child before full recovery can feel like "getting hit by a baseball bat" and may take 7 to 8 years to recover from. This is a caution about attempting repeated pregnancies without adequate nutritional recovery.
Fertility Through Age 59
For women wondering whether they are too old, Aajonus states: "Women on this diet have gotten pregnant all the way through 59 years old who had not been able to get pregnant for years and some never." Age, in his framework, is not the primary limiting factor, nutritional status is.

Questions Aajonus Answered
- ---
Q (from Q&A correspondence): Regarding preparing the body for pregnancy and clearing residues:
- Aajonus's response: "I suggest you be patient for that time [2.5+ years] and you will not have a problem. Then, consuming 2 milkshakes daily 10 days before ovulation usually will produce healthy ova."
---
- Q: "I have been patient since we have wanted to get pregnant with our 3rd child for the last 5 years now. For some reason we cannot. The funny thing is, is that women around me are getting pregnant in their 40s, but they do not eat healthy. I have a clean diet and am still not achieving pregnancy. I know there are fewer eggs when a woman gets older. I am assuming it has to do with my age. I am 46. If I wait another 18 months as you suggested I will be 48. Sooner, rather than later, would be better. I know I am at the end of my child bearing years. Will try the milkshakes daily for 10 days."
Aajonus's response: "Women on this diet have gotten pregnant all the way through 59 years old who had not been able to get pregnant for years and some never. How long has it been since your last child was born?"
- Follow-up from questioner: "Last child was born Nov. 2005. We have used no contraception ever, nothing."
Aajonus's response: "According to ALL tribes, it takes 7 years for the mother to completely recover from her previous child so that a new baby does not suffer any deficiencies except by the mothers diet. Therefore, if your body is following nature, you are due to get pregnant after November 2012. Healthfully and appreciatively, Aajonus."
- ---
Q (seminar attendee, paraphrased from the Dayton, Ohio account): Couples presenting before the lecture described how, after 11 years of trying to conceive, spending tens of thousands of dollars at fertility clinics, they had gotten pregnant within a year on the diet. What specifically did they do?
- Aajonus's account: "We don't do all the raw meat and all of that very often, but we did all of the milkshakes, two milkshakes a day, and we drank some vegetable juice. We had extra eggs, and mainly did the dairy, and we got pregnant."
He then described three couples at that same workshop, each with their own account. The couple that had tried for 16 years: "One of them heard about my diet that she was on the diet and she had a baby almost instantly. So they went on the diet and started with milkshakes. The couple was pregnant in one month. One month. Just on the milkshakes. The raw eggs and the raw milk." They went back to their fertility clinic to tell two other couples they had befriended there. "Each couple got pregnant only a month on the diet. Eating mainly milkshakes."
- His conclusion: "It is your food that makes the difference in your functionality, not drugs, not hormone replacement. It's all tactics to make money and to keep you just as confused and to keep you buying."
---
- Q (from early training transcript): "There is also the phenomenon of the depletion of life force too through ejaculation that has been traditionally part of the esoteric practice of kundalini yoga and all that. So you are suggesting that on this diet one could actually ejaculate without being depleted?"
Aajonus: "That's right."
- Q: "Isn't that interesting. And again, we are building the testicles with the fish and so on."
Aajonus: "And a lot of times you don't want to eat your own. Because when you start getting healthy enough to throw off the toxins..." [text continues but is cut off in source]
- ---
Q (early training transcript, about impotence from ejaculation on non-meat diets):
- Context: Discussion about men becoming impotent due to energy and nutrient depletion from ejaculation.
Aajonus: "The drain of nutrients, the amount of hormones, proteins, fats that are lost and the finest that the body can utilize will be used there."
- Q: "That's why the Indians eat it in India. They just take the semen and..."
Aajonus: "Right. They don't have any protein. All they eat is grains."
- Q: "That's a traditional yogic practice to eat... when you do, and of course a lot of them are celibates and they don't very much, but when they do they take it back into the body."
Aajonus: "Right, because they need those nutrients. That's also basically where drinking your own urine came from, because you have to keep drinking your own proteins because you can't afford to lose them because you don't eat them. So, it's a starving community for those things to have evolved, but it's not necessary if you are eating properly."

Q (workshop, about the Pottenger and generational infertility):
- Context: Aajonus describing the Pottenger experiments:
"So they also found that after the third generation, they became infertile, started becoming infertile. How much infertility is popping up now? I mean, in the last 10 years, infertility is the big new business. Third generation. What happened to the fourth with the cats and howl with the rats? Howl did it with rats, same thing. Raw foods, no disease, cooked foods. All diseases. Every disease a man had. Fourth generation, all diseases started to break down. After the fifth, that was it. No reproduction. We all became extinct."

Q (implicit, from workshop context): Does fertilization of eggs (having them be fertile eggs from a chicken) add nutritional value?
- Aajonus's response: "Fertilized eggs really doesn't matter. When I said fertile in my book, that was because you never knew if a chicken was in a small cage like this unless the eggs were fertile. You know if the eggs were fertile, she wasn't in a small little cage. She had to be going out and having sex with a rooster."
He then goes into the topic of sperm as stem cells, indicating that the fertilization factor is less about adding nutrition to the egg itself and more about the sourcing and housing conditions of the hen.

Q (seminar, about low testosterone being diagnosed by the pharmaceutical industry):
- Aajonus: "When the pharmaceutical industry says, oh, you've got a low thyroid, say thank you. That's good... Again, the endocrine glands, when the pharmaceutical industry says you've got a low testosterone, you're low in energy... the estrogen and the testosterone are mainly used for reproduction of cells, for building ovum and sperm. They're not to give you energy. They're not to keep your bones from deteriorating. Another fallacy."

- Q (newsletter, self-reported): On the quality of his own sperm as a measure of diet quality:
Aajonus writes: "I supposed that the quality of my sperm was excellent since I have been eating 99.9999% raw for 35 years and eating raw meat for 31 years. However, I do not know scientifically if the quality of spermatogonial cells is significantly improved by diet except that in a Petri dish, my sperm lived 1-5 days rather than 0-3 days."
