Aajonus was absolutely unambiguous on this point: the common cold is not a sickness, not an infection, and not something to be feared or suppressed. It is a bacterial detoxification process, a deliberate, orchestrated cleansing cycle initiated by the body itself. In his framework, the body does not malfunction during a cold; it performs at a high level of intelligence.
Aajonus's Definition
Aajonus was absolutely unambiguous on this point: the common cold is not a sickness, not an infection, and not something to be feared or suppressed. It is a bacterial detoxification process, a deliberate, orchestrated cleansing cycle initiated by the body itself. In his framework, the body does not malfunction during a cold; it performs at a high level of intelligence.
He described the cold specifically as "a bacterial detoxification (yellow to clear mucus) that is sometimes accompanied by fungi (green to clear mucus) and very little or no virus." This is a precise and technical definition within his system: the color of the mucus tells you what microorganism is dominant in the cleansing work. Yellow to clear mucus indicates primarily bacterial activity. Green to clear mucus indicates fungal involvement alongside the bacteria. The presence of virus during a cold is described as very little or none at all, this was the traditional understanding he had studied for decades.
He elaborated extensively on what a cold actually cleanses: "Cold detoxification cleanses the respiratory system, connected lymphatic glands and nodes, and brain." This is not an incidental or superficial cleansing. The respiratory system, the lymphatic architecture connected to it, and the brain itself are all involved in the process. He considered this profound, not trivial.
He described the mechanism: "Bacteria and fungi stir from hibernation to consume damaged, decaying and dead cells. That is the natural function of bacteria and fungi in the human body." This is the foundational redefinition. Bacteria and fungi are not pathogens attacking a healthy body. They are cleanup crews waking up when conditions are right to consume what has already been damaged. The body calls them into action; they do not invade from outside.
After they complete their work, he said, "our bodies enter an intense healing cycle, usually indicated by fever. When that is complete, our bodies have finished a cycle of improvements." The cold is therefore a complete cycle: the bacteria and fungi do the dismantling work, the fever is the signal that the cleanup is done and now rebuilding begins, and after the fever passes, the body has genuinely improved.
He gave a striking personal description: "I want an applause. I got a cold this year. Actually, my first brain detox in probably 10 years." He called it a "brain detox", meaning the cold was specifically cleaning the brain, which is connected to the respiratory system and the lymph. He said: "I like a cold, but I usually only get one every 5 years. I like colds because they're a natural facelift. They give me about 3 extra years of my appearance." He also told female clients directly: "Do not stop a cold. It is your natural face lift. And it's a cheap one."
He told his audiences he prays for colds. He said explicitly: "I pray for three a year." This was not rhetorical hyperbole, he explained at length why he valued them and actively sought them out.
He framed the cold as the culmination, not the beginning, of a long detoxification process: "A cold and a flu together... a cold and a flu when you have that dump when you're discharging all that mucus, that is the end of that cycle, heavy cycle of detoxification, you're getting all of that stuff out." The mucus discharge, the vomiting, the diarrhea he associated with these events, all of it is the body taking out the garbage that has been accumulating for some time. "A lot of people think the cold or a flu is the process of detoxification. No, it's the end of a process of detoxification and removal of the wastes."

Root Cause
The root cause of a cold in Aajonus's system is the accumulation of damaged, decaying, and dead cellular matter in the body, particularly in the respiratory system, the associated lymphatic nodes and glands, and the brain. This accumulation happens naturally over time as part of living in a polluted world, eating imperfectly, and simply being alive in a body that is constantly metabolizing, building, and tearing down tissue.
He explained the mechanism in detail: the body is always producing cellular debris. Normally, bacteria are present and active to consume this debris as it is generated. But bacteria are seasonal, they go into hibernation when temperatures drop. When the climate conditions become right, typically in fall and spring, though he noted colds now occur year-round because of increasing toxicity, those bacteria "stir from hibernation" and begin the cleanup work.
He used the analogy of bears repeatedly: "Bacteria, parasites, fungus go into hibernation. The whole system can be overloaded at once, although it should be as... You don't say that bears are contagious because they come out of hibernation in Mexico first and then in the United States and Canada." The timing of when colds happen is not random and not due to contagion, it follows the same seasonal logic as any hibernating creature waking up when the environment signals that it is time.
He identified a deeper layer of causation rooted in historical bodily history: "You don't get the same flu every year, you're cleaning out some other tissue every time you get a flu, you want that, you want cold is when your body uses the bacteria for cleansing." Each cold or flu is addressing a specific type of tissue that has accumulated damage. The body cycles through different tissue types over time, which is why you don't get identical colds repeatedly, each one is cleaning something specific.
He also connected the frequency of colds to how contaminated the body is overall: "People who get out of kilter with other people and start detoxes because they're way so contaminated, they can't do it in the proper cycles." When someone has accumulated a great deal of toxicity from pollution, medical interventions, poor diet, or industrial chemicals, the detoxification cycles can become irregular, overlapping, or intense.
He repeatedly sounded an alarm about a shift he was observing in the nature of colds. Historically, he said, colds were always bacterial and flus were always viral. This was established biochemical knowledge that he had studied. But he was noticing that this was changing:
"They are told now colds and flus are mainly viral. 40 years ago, when I studied it, colds were mainly bacterial. Flus were mainly viral. Now, we are so toxic that guess what? We can't use as many bacteria anymore. So, now, most of your colds are even viral. That shows our degeneration is getting greater and greater. It is terrible."
He explained the significance: "We can no longer be easily natural. We can no longer opt for the easier ways to detox by having colds. No, you have to have flus. Cold's a lot easier than a flu. Pneumonias now are turning into viral pneumonias when they all used to be bacterial."
His explanation for this shift was that industrial pollution, medical chemicals, pharmaceutical residues, and the cumulative contamination of the body's tissues have reached a point where bacteria and parasites cannot survive in the tissues well enough to do their cleanup work. "Because of the bacteria, parasite, or molated, it would kill it. Kill them. So when your body's using virus, what's happening? We're getting more and more viruses every year and less bacteria. More and more viral diseases every year and less and less bacterial diseases. We're getting so contaminated with our pollution that we can no longer be easily natural."
He called this a sign of civilizational degeneration, not an improvement in health, but a degradation of the body's capacity to clean itself through the gentler, easier bacterial route.
He made a pointed historical and political claim about how the understanding of colds was deliberately altered: "Common cold was bacterial. This change happened in the last 30 years. The pharmaceutical companies did it." He stated that the reclassification of colds from bacterial to viral was not an innocent scientific discovery but a deliberate obfuscation designed to confuse the public, create fear, and sell products: "Now they're saying colds are viral. Hello. They keep mixing things to make to confuse you. Colds were always called bacteria because they were always bacterial. Flus were called flus because they were always viral. They just want to confuse the hell out of you."

Why This Happens
The common cold sits most centrally in the Detoxification and Microbes of Aajonus's philosophical framework. It is a showcase example of his terrain theory in action: the body creates the conditions, calls in the microorganisms, manages the cleanup, and emerges improved on the other side. The microbes (bacteria and fungi) are not the cause of anything, they are the tools the body deploys.
It also belongs in Sovereignty, specifically in the context of his consistent message that you should not suppress these processes. To take cold medicine, to suppress mucus, to reduce the fever, all of these are acts of working against your own body's intelligent design. His framework demands that you trust the body and support it rather than attack its mechanisms.
It connects to Cooked Food in that the accumulation of damaged tissue that creates the need for a cold in the first place is dramatically worsened by consuming cooked and processed foods that leave undigestible residues in the tissues. And it connects to Raw Food because he stated clearly that eating raw foods, particularly raw dairy and raw meats, reduces the accumulation of the kind of cellular debris that requires intense bacterial cleanses.

Symptoms Reframed
The primary symptom of a cold, copious mucus production, is reframed entirely. Mucus is the medium through which bacteria and fungi carry out their work and through which the body expels the consumed waste. It should be supported, not suppressed.
He described his own experience before he was healthy: "When I got a cold or flu, it lasted one to three months. Daily, I would fill two to five handkerchiefs until they were sopping wet. They made my pockets wet and me colder." He contrasted this with his healthy state: "When I get a cold or flu, it lasts only thirty minutes to three days." The duration and intensity of the mucus discharge is directly related to how much waste is being expelled and how efficiently the body is doing it.
He described the mucus color as diagnostically meaningful: yellow to clear indicates bacterial activity doing its proper work; green to clear indicates fungal involvement. Both are normal parts of the process.
- Yellow to clear mucus: primarily bacterial detoxification, this is the classic cold presentation, the body using bacteria to clean respiratory tissue, lymph nodes, and brain
- Green to clear mucus: fungal involvement alongside bacteria, slightly different process but still part of the same cleansing cycle
He addressed coughs as part of the cold process: "Coughs are the body's way of loosening and eliminating toxic mucus, or increasing circulation to the torso, including respiratory and cardiac systems, intestines and gonads." The cough is not a malfunction, it is the lungs mechanically moving the mucus that has bound with toxins so that it can be expelled. If the mucous membranes cannot produce enough mucus to bind with the toxins, the membranes become dry and "convulsive coughs may result", which he identified as a more difficult situation than adequate, flowing mucus.
He gave specific advice for someone experiencing coughing: thin toxic mucus by eating "equal portions of grated raw horseradish root or ginger root and fresh raw lemon juice" so that "coughs don't have to be as violent." The goal is to keep the mucus flowing rather than thick, sticky, and difficult to move.
He also made a postural recommendation for those experiencing cold-related lung involvement: "When anyone experiences a cold cleansing, it is best to not lie flat... When the body detoxifies the lungs, or through the lungs, the lung muscles are weakened. Gravity pushes the lungs closed in the prone position. I suggest that he sleep in a near-sitting position such as he would be if he were in a baby's car seat. He will breathe easier and cough less. Coughing keeps the lungs open and working. The lungs will not have to push open (cough) so much when he is in a sitting position."
After the bacteria and fungi complete their work consuming the damaged tissue, fever arrives. He reframed fever completely: "Fever ends proliferation of bacteria and other detoxification microbes, stops cells from producing virus and initiates intense healing (cellular division/reproduction)." Fever is not the body being overwhelmed, it is the body's signal that the cleanup phase is complete and the rebuilding phase has begun. "Usually, fever is accompanied by necessary lethargy that transforms into tiredness. Rest, relaxation and sleep are important because most healing occurs during those states."
He stated regarding fever above 100 degrees: "No bacteria can grow in the human body. It all stops. Your body can no longer manufacture virus. That stops. So all the...", meaning the fever is the body's deliberate mechanism to halt the microbial activity once the work is done.
He had seen infants with fevers of 106 degrees and noted they were fine, implying that fever itself should not trigger panic or suppression.
The exhaustion that accompanies a cold is reframed as the body appropriately directing energy away from activity and toward internal cleaning and rebuilding. He described the lethargy as "necessary", it is not a sign of weakness but of the body correctly prioritizing its resources.
He spoke personally about experiencing "a splitting headache" during a detox, noting that it "does not limit my ability to communicate with you and to get things put out in a fairly good pattern." He used this as a demonstration of how one can function through detoxification symptoms when the underlying health is good. Headaches during colds are part of the cleansing process and are not cause for alarm or suppression.
This is one of Aajonus's most striking reframings. He told female clients specifically: "Do not stop a cold. It is your natural face lift." He explained this was because the cold is cleaning the brain and the lymph nodes connected to the face and head, the respiratory system's detoxification ripples through the facial tissue, refreshing it. He said: "I like colds because they're a natural facelift. They give me about 3 extra years of my appearance, so they should be welcomed." He also said elsewhere: "I want colds and flus. I want to dump all that garbage out of my brain."

Food Protocol
His approach to diet during a cold was entirely oriented around supporting the detoxification, providing nutrients that facilitate cleansing, keep the mucous membranes productive, bind with and remove toxins, and rebuild tissue after the bacteria finish their work. "Let colds run their course by supplying nutrients that best facilitates cleansing and healing."
He prescribed a specific daily diet for cold symptoms:
Diet During Symptoms of Cold, Flu, or Severe Pain: - ½ to 1 pound of fowl (raw chicken or turkey) - 2 to 3 Moisturizing/Lubrications Formula Drinks (preferable), or alternatively 2 to 3 Milkshakes - 1 Smoothie
This daily diet should be followed until symptoms have subsided and normal functions resume.
Referenced repeatedly as the preferable drink during cold and flu. This is the foundational support drink, it was described as providing moisture to the mucous membranes while delivering nutrients for cleansing and healing.
He described a smoothie for coughs during colds: "Drinking smoothies made of 2-3 raw eggs, ½ cup fresh raw fruit and 2-4 tablespoons unheated honey supplies the nutrients to form healthy mucus and lubricate mucous membranes." This smoothie directly addresses the mucous membrane's ability to produce the fluid necessary to bind with toxins and carry them out.
He referenced a specific drink: 2 eggs, honey, butter, and an orange, all blended together. He described this as a drink that "speeds detox, cleanses and binds with toxins and helps you feel better through the detox." When asked how often to drink it, he said: "You may have as many of those drinks as you like."
This is a recurring formula in the cold protocol. The eggs provide bioavailable protein for rebuilding. The honey provides enzymes and energy. The butter provides fat-soluble nutrients and helps bind with toxins. The orange provides vitamin C, citrus enzymes, and acidic compounds that help thin mucus and cleanse membranes.
However, he made an important qualification in at least one case: when a person was experiencing persistent coughing during a cold that lasted 12 days, he said, "I would like you to try something: eliminate honey from your diet for 30 days and see if coughing is reduced or eliminated." He still permitted the eggs, butter, and orange blend but wanted honey removed. When asked if this included the honey in green juice, he said: "Eliminate honey. Vinegar is good." This was a case-specific modification, not a blanket removal of honey from the cold protocol, but a specific experiment for someone with stubborn, prolonged coughing.
The prescription of raw chicken or turkey is specific and intentional. He explained regarding croup (a related condition) that "eating antibiotic-free and hormone-free raw chicken or turkey helps to strengthen and rebuild the affected tissue." The white meat of raw fowl is consistently associated with strengthening and rebuilding respiratory and throat tissue in his system. During a cold, the ½ to 1 pound daily serves to rebuild what the bacteria have consumed and cleaned.
For throat symptoms accompanying the cold, he prescribed a specific formula:
Lemon Throat Lozenge: - 4 ounces butter - 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice - 3 tablespoons honey - 2 teaspoons fresh ginger root juice OR 2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger root
Method: "Warm all ingredients in an 8-ounces jar, capped with blender washer/blades/base, immersed in bowl of mildly hot water for 5 minutes. Blenderize all ingredients together on medium speed for 15 seconds."
This lozenge was his standard recommendation for throat involvement during colds and flus. The butter soothes and coats tissue. The lemon juice thins mucus and provides enzymatic cleansing activity. The honey provides energy and enzymatic activity. The ginger specifically thins mucus to make it less sticky and easier to move.
He stated: "Normally, I suggest my Throat Lozenge formula with ginger" when someone needed to break up coughing mucus. The ginger in the lozenge is specifically identified as the active component for mucus thinning.
He recommended "equal portions of grated raw horseradish root or ginger root and fresh raw lemon juice" for thinning toxic mucus during coughs associated with colds. Both horseradish and ginger function similarly in his system, they thin the mucus, reduce the violence necessary for each cough, and help the body move the mucous waste more efficiently.
He had a specific and important warning about ginger during extended cold use: "Ginger thins mucus, but when taken too much too often, it can thin it so much that the mucous membranes become damaged. When ceasing consumption, after taking a lot for long periods, mucus will get inordinately thick for about 10 days; then it should settle into normal mucus. If it does not, then add a little ginger rather than lots." This suggests a moderate, not excessive, use of ginger during a cold, and cautions against continuing high-ginger protocols indefinitely.
When nausea accompanies a cold, he recommended: "Eating a little cheese often helps to absorb poisons that cause nausea." In conditions where the detox is producing enough waste that nausea results, raw cheese acts as an internal absorbent, binding with the circulating toxins in the gut so they can be expelled via the bowel rather than through vomiting.
For croup-type coughs (high-pitched cough with difficult breathing, a respiratory condition he grouped near cold symptoms): "Eating honey/butter mix soothes the tissue and eases difficult breathing."
He recommended: "Drinking smoothies and eating citrus fruits help cleanse the mucous membranes." During cold conditions, citrus fruits, with their enzymatic acids and cleansing properties, support the mucous membranes in their work of binding and expelling toxins.
In general, when the body is in a detoxification state that includes cold-like symptoms, he noted: "Drinking smoothies and milkshakes are best." These are easy to consume, require minimal digestive energy, deliver nutrients efficiently, and directly support mucous membrane function.
He consistently referred people to his detailed protocols: "Follow the instructions for colds and flu in my recipe book on page 147" and referenced for the detox drink. These page references are embedded in the Q&A responses and represent his complete, specific protocols.

What to Avoid
- i
His most categorical instruction was: do not suppress a cold. Do not take medications to stop it. Do not suppress the mucus. Do not reduce the fever artificially. Every action taken to suppress the cold is working against the body's own intelligent detoxification system. He made this explicit: the cold is the end product of a long detoxification cycle, interrupting it leaves the waste inside the body.
- ii
He stated: "To get rid of the new stuff I wanted to get rid of the old stuff. But as long as you're having colds and flus you know you're detoxified." Suppressing them means the garbage stays inside.
- iii
He repeatedly and emphatically condemned flu vaccinations. He called getting a flu shot "the dumbest thing in the world. You can't be dumber." He explained: "You cannot prevent something that's live from not being active. Virus are not alive. And flus are mainly viral." Vaccinating against a flu makes no logical sense within his framework because viruses are not pathogens, they are solvents created by cells to dissolve specific tissue. Injecting flu vaccine introduces foreign particles that alter RNA and DNA, creating real damage that never would have occurred from the natural flu process.
- iv
He also stated that the purported Spanish flu epidemic of 1918 was caused by the flu vaccine itself: "Everyone who got the flu and died had had the vaccine and medical therapy for vaccine side effects. Do you think that the manufacturer and all of the doctors involved were going to admit their mistakes? So they blamed it on the Spanish flu and vermin."
- v
He cited the Jon Monroe experiment at length: Monroe worked with people who normally got 2-4 colds or flu per year. He employed techniques to "annihilate, inactivate the viral bodies that create colds and flus." For one full year, none of those people got a cold or a flu. The side effect was that "they got clinical depression." Monroe did not initially understand the connection. Nothing worked to address the depression. So he "reintroduced the viral bodies again. People got the colds and flus again but the depression went away."
- vi
Aajonus interpreted this clearly: colds and flus play "a crucial role in health, symbiotically." When the body cannot detoxify through periodic respiratory cleanses, it becomes chronically burdened. The depression in this experiment represents the systemic consequence of accumulated undischarged cellular waste, "constant depression" versus "periodic colds and flu." He stated: "Monroe realized that it was better to have detoxifications in the form of periodic colds and flu rather than constant depression."
- vii
He addressed the impulse to avoid people with colds out of fear of catching them. His position was that you cannot catch a cold from someone coughing. He said: "All this contagious garbage is absolute nonsense. You cannot get a cold from somebody coughing." He explained that when a family of seven has three people get the flu in sequence, that does not prove contagion, it proves that those three people's bodies were ready to detoxify at that seasonal moment. The other four either had already detoxified or their bodies were not ready for that particular cleansing cycle.
- viii
He addressed the common scenario of being with a partner who has a cold and then getting one yourself: "That's the same season. Eating, probably eating nearly the same things. The coincidence is happening." He compared it to saying bears are contagious because they come out of hibernation at roughly the same time in neighboring regions.
- ix
As noted above, he recommended eliminating honey from the cold protocol in at least one specific case where the coughing was persistent and severe (12 days of coughing with chest pain). He framed it as an experiment to see if honey reduction would reduce the coughing. This is not a blanket prohibition, honey is in the Lemon Throat Lozenge and is part of the smoothie formula, but he was willing to modify it based on individual presentation.
- x
Though not specific to cold/flu in every mention, he warned extensively about cold milk's effect on digestion and mucus membranes. Cold milk consumed quickly without warming it in the mouth first results in undigested lactate entering the blood, which "could get thirsty. You could get dry mouth. You could get headaches. You could get allergies." During a cold, when mucous membranes are already working hard, ensuring milk is warmed before swallowing is important.
- xi
As mentioned above, lying flat when the lungs are involved in cold detoxification is specifically contraindicated. "Gravity pushes the lungs closed in the prone position... I suggest that he sleep in a near-sitting position such as he would be if he were in a baby's car seat."

Recovery Timeline
Aajonus was explicit that the duration of a cold is directly related to the level of overall health and the degree of accumulated toxicity being expelled. He gave his own experience as the benchmark: "When I get a cold or flu, it lasts only thirty minutes to three days." He contrasted this with his earlier, unhealthy state: "When I got a cold or flu, it lasted one to three months. Daily, I would fill two to five handkerchiefs until they were sopping wet."
This is a striking range. His healthy-state colds lasted as little as 30 minutes, sometimes just one hour. He said of this period: "I was getting only one a year and I was lucky it lasted 12 hours. Sometimes it only lasted one hour. I was getting disappointed." He was disappointed because such brief colds meant relatively little was being detoxified.
For a person with accumulated toxicity, a cold might last much longer. He mentioned "3 days" as a typical number in one context, "10 days" in the context of nerve cleaning in the respiratory tract, and acknowledged that some individual colds can extend significantly when a great deal of waste is being expelled.
He gave a framework for understanding duration based on what is being detoxified: "3 weeks, 3 days you've got the nerves in the respiratory tract, you're going to clean those. That could last 10 days." The implication is that different tissue types take different amounts of time to be processed by the bacteria. Soft mucous tissue may clean quickly; nerve tissue takes longer.
He gave consistent guidance on this: "I like two, three colds a year." He said he wanted at least two a year to clean the body adequately. He expressed concern when he went a full year without a cold: "I went a whole year without them. Of course, the accidents, sure, you know, probably stopped a lot of other normal detoxifications because my body had to rebuild that." The accidents he referenced were a physical accident that redirected his body's healing resources.
He also celebrated when patients had frequent colds. When asked about having 4 colds in a year plus a sinus infection, his response was: "You are very lucky to have such frequent detoxifications of that kind." He expressed no concern about frequency, only enthusiasm that the body was doing its cleaning work.
For someone having 10 colds in 26 months, he did not suggest this was too many, he engaged with the specific symptoms to help manage them but did not frame the frequency itself as a problem.
He was insistent on this: the cold represents the end of a long internal process. "The body is not sloughing it off all at once or all in a day. Then it collects and gets out of the system. So when you go through that dumping, that's called a flu or a cold, how do you like that, a clue? That's a cold and a flu together. Shorten it down. So a cold and a flu, when you have that dump, when you're discharging all that mucus, that is the end of that cycle, heavy cycle of detoxification. You're getting all of that stuff out, vomiting, diarrhea, that's all the end result of a long detoxification been building out for quite a while." The visible cold symptoms may last a few days, but the invisible preparation that required them may have taken months.
The fever that sometimes accompanies a cold marks the transition point. Once fever begins, the bacterial cleanup is complete. The fever raises body temperature high enough to stop bacterial growth and halt viral production. The body then shifts into active cellular rebuilding. Rest, sleep, and the right foods during this phase accelerate the improvement.
He stated that after the cold completes its full cycle, bacteria consume damaged tissue, waste is expelled through mucus and related processes, fever signals the healing phase begins, "our bodies have finished a cycle of improvements." This is not a return to the prior baseline. The body has actually improved. He described gaining "about 3 extra years" of his physical appearance from each cold because of the brain and lymph cleaning involved.

Questions Aajonus Answered
- Q: How many colds a year are good to have on this diet?
"I have had 1 sinus infection and 4 colds since last August. I am currently having my 4th cold as I write this. The first cold was in Nov. 2006. The colds are coming like clockwork every 3 months. Is this okay?"
Aajonus: "You are very lucky to have such frequent detoxifications of that kind. Healthfully, Aajonus."
No qualification, no concern, no suggestion to reduce the frequency. Pure affirmation.
---
- Q: 10th cold in 26 months, 12 days of coughing, chest pain from coughing, tired, low-grade fever of 100.4–100.6 for a week. I drank the drink from page 155 of your book (2 eggs, honey, butter and an orange, all blended). How often should I drink this? What is the best food for me right now?
Aajonus: "I would like you to try something: eliminate honey from your diet for 30 days and see if coughing is reduced or eliminated. You may have as many of those drinks as you like. Healthfully, Aajonus."
Follow-up: "My green juice in the morning has honey in it. Should I stop putting honey in my green juice? I also put vinegar in my green juice as you stated: about 1 TBS of raw cider vinegar."
Aajonus: "Eliminate honey. Vinegar is good."
This is a case where he modified the standard cold protocol based on a specific and persistent symptom, prolonged, chest-straining cough. His hypothesis was that honey was contributing to or maintaining the coughing pattern.
---
- Q (implied): What to do when someone is experiencing a cold cleansing with lung involvement and coughing?
Aajonus: "When anyone experiences a cold cleansing, it is best to not lie flat. I suggest that you do not place him in a prone position.
Follow-up: "What can I give him to break up the coughing mucus?"
Aajonus: "Normally, I suggest my Throat Lozenge formula with ginger."
He also noted context: "It is normal for many people to dump the fats and re-lipidate for winter. Colds are normal now. Flu season is usually January–March."
---
- Q: From a woman whose wife frequently had colds/flu at a toxic job, and she got better when she left:
Aajonus: "Many children and adults have such symptoms in buildings with toxic materials. The school population in the entire school system in the San Fernando Valley and adjacent areas had similar symptoms because of the asbestos. After many decades, the schools had to gradually be reconstructed. I have one teacher/patient who still suffers from her past exposure. And again, using the same logic, I could prove to you that bears are contagious because they all seem to come out of hibernation at the same time. In the Northern hemisphere, bears sp[ring]..." [end of passage]
This response illustrates that frequent colds in a toxic environment are the body responding to ongoing toxic exposure, not contagion from coworkers.
---
- Q (implied): Is waking in cold sweats common while eating raw?
Aajonus: "Many people who are not on my diet experience those symptoms. It happens infrequently. It indicates that you are reproducing cells and by morning you are fat and protein deficient enough to be cold. Healthfully, Aajonus."
This response, while not directly about colds, illustrates his framework for interpreting cold-sweat symptoms, as a sign of cellular reproduction and rebuilding rather than illness.
---
- Q (implied from workshop): Can you comment on contagious disease, like if you're with a woman who has a cold, you catch it right after?
Aajonus: "Yeah, but that's the same season. Eating, probably eating nearly the same things. The coincidence is happening... Take a look at the opposite of that. We've got a family of seven people, three get the flu right after each other, and the other four don't. If the immune system is strong enough, it didn't... That's bullshit. There's no immune system. There's no immune system. That's again, that little spacey, mysterious thing that the pharmaceutical companies come up [with]."
---
- Q (from a newsletter, December 2009): Personal account of an 8-day cold-flu detoxification
Aajonus himself reported: "As of December 19, 2009, I am at the end of an 8-days cold-flu detoxification wherein the same types of sores I experienced after the forced injections erupted on my neck, scalp, shoulders, upper torso and arms. However, they were of the smaller variety experienced in the first 3 days after forced injections. My cold/flu symptoms began in the sinuses with burning, soreness, swelling and near constant nasal drip. Within 3 days, symptoms progressed to voluminous sinus, nasal and throat mucus discharges. After 3 more days, detoxification moved into my lungs with infrequent deep mucosal coughs."
This is a first-person case study of an 8-day cold-flu event he personally experienced, attributed to the body continuing to process and expel residue from forced pharmaceutical injections. He tracked the progression: sinus burning and nasal drip → voluminous mucus discharges → deep mucosal lung coughs. He was at the end of it, implying full resolution was imminent.
---
- Workshop Personal Disclosure (NC 2001):
Aajonus: "I want an applause. I got a cold this year. Actually, my first brain detox in probably 10 years. And I like a cold, but I usually only get one every 5 years. I like colds because they're a natural facelift. They give me about 3 extra years of my appearance, so they sh[ould be welcomed]."
He is sharing this as a celebration, not an announcement of illness, but of successful detoxification.
---
- Workshop on the Jon Monroe experiment:
Aajonus: "I don't know if it's because he heard about my Appendix X and what it did to me, but in one of his experiments he took people who normally got two to four colds or flus a year. He worked on annihilating, inactivating the viral bodies that create colds and flus. For one full year none of these people got a cold or a flu. The side effect was that they got clinical depression. He did not identify it as the lack of virus or bacteria. Kept pledging along trying to find out what it was. Nothing worked. So he reintroduced the viral bodies again. People got the colds and flus again but the depression went away."
This is one of his most important cited cases demonstrating that suppressing colds creates worse outcomes than allowing them.
