Broken Bone
MusculoskeletalBroken Bone

A broken bone, in Aajonus's framework, is a structural fracture of the skeletal material that the body is fully capable of healing, reknitting, and restoring to function, including dissolving bone fragments, regrowing separated bone segments, and re-establishing nerve continuity through fractured areas, provided the person is eating the proper raw foods and does not allow surgical interference to complicate or permanently damage the healing process.

Aajonus's Definition

A broken bone, in Aajonus's framework, is a structural fracture of the skeletal material that the body is fully capable of healing, reknitting, and restoring to function, including dissolving bone fragments, regrowing separated bone segments, and re-establishing nerve continuity through fractured areas, provided the person is eating the proper raw foods and does not allow surgical interference to complicate or permanently damage the healing process.

Aajonus understood bone as a living, regenerating tissue. Bone cells, he explained, live seven to seven and a half years, meaning that over roughly that period, every bone cell in the body can be replaced. The bone is not a static structure, it is alive and capable of remarkable self-repair. "The body is absolutely miraculous," he stated repeatedly, and broken bones were one of the primary examples he used to demonstrate this capacity.

He also distinguished between different severities: a clean break is described as relatively straightforward to mend, "a break is, you know, a break is all you're going to do is mend the bone back together", whereas crushing injuries to surrounding tendons and ligaments, and especially the shattering or splintering of bone into a joint, are considerably more complex and take longer to heal. He explicitly stated that a crushed tendon-ligament injury is "five times worse, ten times worse" than a clean break.

Bone marrow, in his framework, plays a central role not just in healing but in all systemic health. He identified bone marrow as the site where red and white blood cells are produced, specifically, where stem cells reside. "It is the only place where you can get regenerative stem cells. Not adult stem cells. Adult stem cells is a cell that's matured and can only reproduce its own kind. In bone marrow, you have stem cells which, when they enter the body, the body can decide what it will be used to grow what cells." He described bone marrow when cold as like hard butter, and when warm as "deliciously buttery."

He also described a related fragility condition, brittle bones, as caused by a lack of utilizable fat and other nutrients resulting from fat deficiency, and noted it as a precondition that makes the skeleton vulnerable to fracturing in the first place.

Root Cause

Root Cause

Brittle Bones as a Precondition

Aajonus traced his own childhood history of constant bone fractures to extreme dietary deficiency and toxic accumulation. He described himself as someone who "broke everything" as a child, falling down stairs and breaking three bones at a time, shattering his heel cap after falling from a ladder only three feet high. He contrasted this with his brothers who "could fall off bikes, could fall off ladders, could fall off the house" and never break a bone.

He attributed his bone fragility directly to: - A severely deficient diet (powdered donuts, RC Cola, Sprite with extra sugar, "that was my diet") - Childhood injections of antibiotics and tetanus containing thimerosal, which he identified as damaging the system - Radiation therapy that "cauterized" his spine, burned it so severely it solidified, damaging bone marrow in his ribs, spine, shoulders, hip bones, and femur joints, which he identified as "the major bones that produce red and white blood cells" - The subsequent loss of bone around his teeth, causing them to "dangle in his gums" - Multiple myeloma (cancer of the blood and bone) that developed as a direct result of radiation damage to bone marrow

He stated: "So they damaged two-thirds of my body with that. So I got multiple myeloma, which is cancer of the blood and bone."

He explained that bone marrow has limited blood circulation and no lymphatic system comparable to the rest of the body, which means toxins are slow to exit. "It has to move out the joints and move out slowly. So it was probably about 13 years before I was almost painless."

Fat Deficiency as Root Cause of Bone Brittleness

Brittle bones are caused by "a lack of utilizable fat (and other nutrients as a result of a fat deficiency)." The symptom is fear of jumping even short heights and easily breaking bones.

Trauma as the Immediate Cause of Fracture

In the acute injury context, Aajonus documented multiple fracture events from external trauma, motorcycle accidents, criminal assault, a construction accident, but even in these contexts he emphasized that the healing outcome is entirely dependent on the quality of the body's nutritional foundation, not on surgical intervention.

Why This Happens

Why This Happens

Root Cause / Terrain Theory / Raw Food / Sovereignty

Broken bone spans several principles in Aajonus's philosophical framework:

  • Root Cause / Terrain Theory: Brittle bones are a nutritional deficiency condition rooted in fat starvation and toxic accumulation in the bone marrow, making the skeleton structurally weak.
  • Raw Food: The healing of broken bones, dissolved bone fragments, regrown nerve tissue, and restored tendons are presented as direct evidence of what raw food, particularly raw meat, bone marrow, raw dairy, and raw fat, makes possible in the body.
  • Cooked Food: He explicitly linked brittle bone syndrome in modern babies to the cooked food diet: "Now every baby's bones are breaking and cracking and brittle." He contrasted this to how "baby's bones" used to be, supple and resilient.
  • Sovereignty: The broken bone case studies are among Aajonus's most extensive demonstrations of the principle that individuals should refuse surgical intervention and trust their body's capacity to heal. He repeatedly refused surgery, refused casts, refused x-rays beyond the minimum, refused skin grafts, and refused general anesthesia, arguing that each of these interventions would cause worse long-term damage than the original injury. "If I do that, I'm going to spend two years repairing it from the surgery. If I let my body do it, I may spend a year at the most healing that."

Symptoms Reframed

Symptoms Reframed

The Body's Cast

One of the most remarkable observations Aajonus documented was what happened to his thigh muscle after his motorcycle accident: "Within four days after the accident, all the muscle disappeared. So I just had skin laying on top of this bone here, and it had taken all of that nutrients in the muscle and made this cast, cast from here all the way down to the foot, to the toes. I mean, a hard, if you touch this now, you'll see there's a cast still around the knee."

He described this as the body converting muscle tissue into a natural stabilizing cast, a biological intelligence that conventional medicine does not recognize. The body, he said, was intelligently redirecting the nutrients from the muscle into the bone structure to hold everything in place during healing.

Pain from Tendons Greater Than Pain from Bone

He consistently noted that in his experience, tendon pain exceeded bone pain: "I had more pain from those tendons being ripped than the bone being broken, I had the most pain right here and right here from where it was ripped."

He observed the tendons visually: "They were bubbled up here and here and in one week I saw them grow back, the pain didn't stop where they had been ripped but I just watched them." He described the bubbling/bulging as "golf ball sized lumps" at the sites of torn tendon ends.

Bone Fragment Dissolution

When bone splinters jam into a joint, as happened in his femur joint from the tibia fragments, conventional medicine fears these will permanently stab nerves and prevent walking. Aajonus observed that on a raw food diet, these fragments dissolve: "The one thing I did to make sure that the bone dissolved, those pieces dissolved, so they wouldn't be, see, they were afraid. Most people don't dissolve those bone fragments, so they'll stab the nerves in the joint."

He distinguished himself from non-raw-diet patients on this point: his body could do what theirs could not because of the enzymatic and nutritional content of his diet.

Swelling and Apparent Dislocation

After his motorcycle accident, the torn tendons caused knotting and bulging that made the knee appear dislocated. He initially went to the hospital under the assumption the knee was dislocated and needed to be reset, not realizing the bone had actually split. This is presented as a reframe: what appeared to be a dislocation was actually the body responding to ripped tendons by pulling in opposite directions.

No Bleeding from Open Wounds

At the hospital following the motorcycle accident, medical staff were astonished by the lack of bleeding from extensive open wounds. Aajonus had applied butter and honey to the wounds before arriving. He stated: "It was seeping a little bit of blood. All this open wound and no bleeding. They couldn't believe it." He presents this as evidence of the body's ability to manage trauma without hemorrhage when nutritionally supported.

Bone Growing Back After Complete Separation

In the case of the jaw bone broken away entirely and shoved under his tongue: "The whole bone had disengaged from the rest of the bone. It was uncomfortable and I could feel swelling and low-grade dull pain, but it wasn't as sharp, not like anything like the leg." He noted that despite the bone being completely separated from the jaw, held only by gum tissue, and with the nerve pipe severed in two places, the bone reattached, the nerve regenerated, and the teeth firmed back into place without extraction. "To them that's a medical miracle. Absolute miracle."

Similarly, with seven broken toe bones: he had a 14-year-old girl reset them manually and bicycled 12 miles that day afterward, going to a movie, with no medical intervention.

Fragmented Jaw and Nerve Severance Reframed

Three dentists and dental nurses told him the bone under his tongue would need to be removed. They said the nerve, "a pipe, a hose as they call it of nerves that goes through all the bone, the jaw, where the teeth are connected", had been split in two places and would not regenerate. He was told all seven teeth should be extracted. He refused, had the bone wired back into place and the jaw wired shut, and less than three months later reported: "The bone is growing back fine... your teeth are actually solidly firming in there."

Food Protocol

Food Protocol

Official Protocol for Broken Bone "Make sure bone is properly aligned first."

This is the first and essential step in Aajonus's protocol. Bone must be in proper alignment before beginning food-based healing. He used chiropractors and osteopathic surgeons for this purpose (alignment only, not surgery).

For Brittle Bones (Precondition): - Drink fresh full-fat raw milk gradually, this "gradually corrects this problem" - If raw milk is unavailable: 4 ounces fresh raw organic carrot juice with avocado, OR with unsalted raw butter, OR with another raw fat, daily, "will be effective but may take a little longer" - Eat fresh and unfrozen organic bone marrow with raw beef, "speeds healing" - Bone marrow texture and taste is "similar to butter", best eaten with a raw meat meal - May be made as part of a meat sauce

For Active Fracture Healing, Bone Marrow: Aajonus ate bone marrow every day that he was in Los Angeles during his recovery, "a whole pack of it, which is about one and a half sticks of butter worth" per day, plus butter with his meat meal. When in Los Angeles specifically, he would eat up to two bone marrows per day. He described this as critical to the healing because bone marrow contains regenerative stem cells that no other food source provides.

He clarified which bones to buy for marrow: the femur and tibia have the most. "From here to here on the animal will be the rich bone marrow inside it. At the knuckle you're not going to get anything. The knuckle's at both sides. That's just hard bone and cartilage."

Storage note: "Those have a tendency to turn on you quick. Bone causes quick bacterial manifestation, you know, oxidizes the bone marrow. So it's best as soon as you get home, leave it out for a few hours and pop them out and put them in a jar and then refrigerate that. And they'll keep longer."

For Wounds Over the Broken Bone Area (External): Aajonus's consistent topical protocol, applied to open wounds and skin loss over broken bones: 1. Lime juice first, squeezed directly onto the wound, even into deep wounds, "let it burn me to death." He explained this surrounds asphalt particles and other contaminants so the body doesn't have to deploy white blood cells to deal with them. He stated: "It's cirrhosis so your body doesn't have to use its white blood cells to do it. So for the next six months it would pass through the skin and I'd just peel it off, the particles." 2. Honey, applied after the lime juice 3. Coconut cream, applied after or with honey 4. Raw meat, placed over the wound as a bandage/covering

He described this combination as what he applied before even going to the hospital: "I put lime juice on and the honey and the coconut cream and not put the meat on yet. And because I wanted them to adjust the knee before I started putting everything on."

In the toe split case: "I took lime juice and I squeezed lime juice on it and let it burn me to death. And then I put honey and coconut cream and then meat over that. Then they wrapped it and went back to work."

For the Jaw Bone: He ate everything mashed and soft, "everything to eat, you know, everything to mash it, you know, chop it up, and then it was in my mouth, down my throat." He maintained his raw diet throughout jaw wiring, consuming raw foods in a form he could swallow.

For Tendons (Inseparable from Bone Healing): He stated: "Fats and muscles attached to the bones at the ends, at the joint areas, sometimes they'll be injured, they grew back together in a week, I watched them, they were bubbled up here and here and in one week I saw them grow back." This was on his full Primal Diet protocol including raw meat and raw fats.

Raw Meat as the Core Protocol: Aajonus repeatedly emphasized raw meat as the foundational healing food for all structural repair including bone. "The body can heal itself very well with raw meat... when I'm talking about meat I'm not talking about red meat I'm not talking about white meat, fish meat anything, red meat is a class when I speak of meat." He stated skin grew back "without pain in 12 days" and that he was "active and working in six and a half weeks with broken bones and all the skin gone."

For Replacement Joint Pain (Related): "Most sufferers completely eliminated crippling replacement pain within 2 weeks of consuming raw meat twice daily. Others required 4-5 weeks. In those situations, it did not matter whether the sufferer consumed red or white meat for healing. What should be considered is if red meat is causing the sufferer to be more anxious. If so, then s/he should eat white meat. After surgery, meat and the Lubrication Formula are most often imperative."

Ocean Therapy / Exercise: During his motorcycle accident recovery, Aajonus exercised his leg in the ocean: "I started, you know, crutching it to the ocean and spent four hours a day, two in the morning, two in the evening, exercising my leg, you know, over a mile in the ocean, just exercising it. And that helped, you know, relieve it and started moving and started, you know, the whole thing getting better quicker so that I could walk and it wouldn't be just so stiff when I started walking without crutches."

Finger Regrowth Case (Bone Included): For a woman in her 50s who ground off her finger including bone "about this much of the finger" in a coconut juicer: "I told her to put lime juice on it first, honey, coconut cream, and raw meat over that as a bandage and it grew back." Her mother and she were also preparing coconut cream throughout the nine months of the photo documentation process. The meat bandage was kept on continuously "until the finger was stable", at "that five month marker" she stopped applying it to the tip area. The nail and finger deformity that was present at earlier months had entirely resolved when Aajonus saw her approximately a year after: "You couldn't even tell. You know, this deformity here. And, the crooked nail on that finger. It's all straight now. And, this was a 56 year old woman."

What to Avoid

What to Avoid

  • i

Aajonus's most emphatic and detailed avoidance is surgery for broken bones. He argued this across multiple accident scenarios:

  • ii
Tibia fracture surgery (what was proposed):

The osteo-surgeon planned to "cut the outside of my right leg from the [knee all the way to the ankle]," insert eight to twelve pins minimum to pin the tibia back together, open and clean the knee joint, reattach the tendons. Aajonus refused entirely.

  • iii

His reasoning: "I've seen people who've had that surgery. This leg is like an inch to two inches shorter. The calf muscle is, you know, two-thirds the size it used to be. And, they're crippled. They're walking around like this the rest of their lives." He observed that motorcycle accident victims who underwent this surgery in Asia "lost two or three inches of that leg from it."

  • iv

His calculation: "If I do that, I'm going to spend two years repairing it from the surgery. If I let my body do it, I may spend a year at the most healing that."

  • v
    Jaw surgery (what was proposed):

Three dentists proposed removing the bone fragment from under his tongue, possibly laceration of the gum to reposition it, and extraction of seven teeth, with prosthesis to follow. He refused extraction of teeth and refused removal of bone.

  • vi
Fragment removal surgery (what was proposed):

Surgeons warned that bone splinters in the femur joint would permanently "stab the nerves in the joint... prevent you from even walking." They wanted to surgically clean out the joint. Aajonus allowed his body to dissolve them instead.

  • vii

He summarized the surgical philosophy: "They wanted to take all the skin from this thigh and this buttock and this buttock and graft all the skin back on... they would have had to cut away a lot of muscle to get to it."

  • viii

Aajonus refused a cast for his tibia fracture. He stated: "They wouldn't anyway without the surgery." He described his experience as a nine-year-old with a cast after shattering his heel cap: "Itched, hot, couldn't take a shower or a bath. The thing stunk all the time. So I was not going to go through that again, so no cast."

  • ix

He instead immobilized himself voluntarily in his hotel room for six and a half weeks: "That means that I pigeonholed myself in my hotel room for six and a half weeks. And when it moved, I had to have the girls move it very gently."

  • x

While Aajonus did agree to minimal x-rays when absolutely necessary to rule out dislocation, he consistently fought to minimize radiation exposure:

  • xi

    - He limited x-rays to two shots only, refusing the full 20-photograph series the doctors wanted - He personally set the x-ray machine to "the highest amount... the longest he could leave for exposure" in one account, and in another account specifically "the lowest level of radiation that you can produce... the slightest millisecond", these appear to be two different scenarios with different goals (one for maximum diagnostic clarity with minimum shots, one for minimum radiation per shot) - He stated directly: "I don't want x-rays. You know radiation stops healing." - He told the radiologist how to position the shots: "You have to x-ray from here to here, straight down, and here to here, you know, on the side so you get two x-rays" - He set the dial himself when permitted: "I dial the x-ray machine. I put it on its settings."

  • xii

He stated regarding x-rays for his seven broken toes in an earlier bicycle accident: "I didn't even go to a doctor to do it. Because they want to do x-rays and stuff like that, prevent healing. So that isn't what I do."

  • xiii

He explicitly regretted allowing Novocaine during the jaw wiring: "I let them shoot me up with Novocaine, which I'm sorry I did, because that has been very traumatic for me." He did not elaborate on the specific mechanism of harm in the source material, but stated it clearly as a regret.

  • xiv

He referenced a prior instance of using Listerine on athlete's foot and called it "the great antiseptic" sarcastically. His topical protocol used lime juice instead of antiseptics.

  • xv

When nurses at the hospital wanted to "come over and clean the wounds," Aajonus "wouldn't let them touch a thing." He had already applied butter and honey and did not want medical antiseptic cleaning to interfere.

  • xvi

While he immobilized the leg during bone knitting, he also actively exercised in the ocean for four hours daily, two hours morning, two hours evening. He presented ocean movement as beneficial to recovery speed. Prolonged total inactivity is implicitly not the approach.

  • xvii

He identified the modern cooked food diet as the reason "every baby's bones are breaking and cracking and brittle now", in contrast to the former elasticity of children's bones. He presented his own childhood brittleness as a direct product of his severely deficient and cooked diet.

Recovery Timeline

Recovery Timeline

Tibia Split, Femur Joint Fragments, Bilateral Tendon Tears (Motorcycle Accident, Thailand)

This is Aajonus's most extensively documented fracture recovery.

Injury description: Tibia split from knee to ankle (or knee to mid-shin in the newsletter account, described as "1/8-inch wide" gap on the backside of the bone). Top of tibia broken off and lodged into femur joint as bone splinters. Both knee tendons torn off at opposite ends, causing "lumps the size of golf balls." Extensive skin and bone shaving from asphalt across leg, arm, elbow, ankle, foot.

Immediate aftermath: - Lay on street in pain 40-45 minutes - Applied lime juice, honey, coconut cream before going to hospital - Refused surgery, refused pins, refused skin grafts, refused cast - Agreed to two x-rays only, set the machine himself - Returned to hotel, immobilized himself

Immobilization: Hotel room for six and a half weeks. Had assistants (described as "the girls") move the leg very gently when necessary.

Muscle conversion to natural cast: "Within four days after the accident, all the muscle disappeared. So I just had skin laying on top of this bone here, and it had taken all of that nutrients in the muscle and made this cast, cast from here all the way down to the foot." He described the cast as hard to the touch, "a hard, if you touch this now, you'll see there's a cast still around the knee."

Tendon regrowth: "In one week I saw them grow back." The bubbled-up tendon ends, visible as golf-ball-sized lumps, were observed to reknit within one week.

Walking on crutches: He began exercising in the ocean on crutches during recovery, walking "over a mile in the ocean" twice daily, four hours total per day.

Walking without crutches: Six and a half weeks after the accident, he "threw the crutches away."

Active and working: "I was active and working in six and a half weeks with broken bones and all the skin gone."

Skin complete: "The skin completely held over pain, without pain in 12 days." (This refers to the skin regrowth over the scraped areas.)

At nine weeks (seminar presentation): "Here it is nine weeks as of yesterday... I can walk on in no pain... There's barely any swelling." He noted a little residual pain when touching the tendon scar area, the old calf muscle still reducing in size, and projected: "In another probably two months, I know I'm going to be fine."

At ten weeks (another seminar): "The leg doesn't stretch out, but it's only been ten weeks. It's pretty good."

Assessment never walk again: Doctors said he would never walk again without surgery. He defied this prognosis.

Fragment dissolution: Bone fragments in the femur joint were dissolved by the body, confirming Aajonus's insistence that this was possible on a raw diet: "We saw from the x-rays that my body had put the bones right back in place. Everything was in place."

Cost comparison: "$18.50" for the life squad and hospital visit. "It would have cost $10-12 grand to do that. I did not get any surgery."

---

Jaw Bone Completely Disengaged, Nerve Severed Twice (Criminal Assault, Bangkok)

Injury description: Hit with a board splitting the eye open, then hit with a crowbar or hammer breaking bone from one side of the jaw to the other and knocking the entire bone segment (including teeth) back under the tongue. Nerve "pipe" connecting all teeth severed in two places. Gum tissue alone holding the displaced bone in position.

Immediate response: "I wasn't about to move it." He did not attempt to reposition the bone himself. He went to the hospital, allowed three stitches in the eye wound. Would not allow x-rays. Would not allow a dentist that night (no dentist on call).

Next day (dentist consultation): Three dentists and six dental nurses recommended removal of the bone, possible teeth extraction (seven teeth), prosthesis. He refused.

Bangkok surgeons (later): Two dentist surgeons at another location said "the bone has been so damaged that if we put it back in place it's just going to go into necrosis, the teeth are going to rot, everything's going to rot, the infection will go to your brain and you'll die." He refused their prognosis: "You have no idea about my diet and what my body is capable to do."

What he accepted: He had the bone worked back into place (manually repositioned), then had the jaw wired and the teeth wired into position. He allowed Novocaine for this procedure (which he later regretted).

Novocaine experience: "I let them shoot me up with Novocaine, which I'm sorry I did, because that has been very traumatic for me."

Three months later: "The 5th of March, I mean the 1st of March, it will be three months since this damage. I still can't chew anything with the front teeth yet. That will probably be another month." But: "I didn't lose seven teeth and those nerves are still alive and the gum is growing back and the bone is growing back fine."

Dentist visit two weeks prior to presentation: "He said I don't believe it. He said your teeth are actually solidly firming in there." (When braces and wiring were on, "there was very little healing.")

Projection: Approximately four months total before front teeth can be used for chewing.

Specialists' prognosis defied: "They told me that there was no way that I could regenerate that nerve down here and rebuild that bone because of the severity of the damage proved them wrong."

Seven Broken Toe Bones (Bicycle Accident, 1980 Desert)

Injury: Bicycle tires slipped on moss, foot caught on curb, toes ripped out, splits between second and third toe (half inch), next (one inch), and little toe (two and a half inches all the way to the bone). Seven broken bones.

Treatment: No medical intervention. Had a 14-year-old girl (known to crack knuckles) reset the bones. It took an hour to persuade her. She reset five of the seven; two more were only discovered broken the next morning upon waking in excruciating pain.

Recovery: Bicycled 12 miles that day and went to a movie afterward.

Cast reference: He wore a cast as a nine-year-old for a shattered heel cap for "about 12 weeks" and never wanted one again.

---

Split Toe, Bone Split (Philippines Construction Site, Pile Accident)

Injury: A 90-pound wooden pile slid off a truck and its 90-degree edge split the toe: "All the skin from here to here was off. All the way down to the bone. The bone was split all the way up the center."

Immediate response: "I cried in pain for about an hour. Yelled at the guy... I took lime juice and I squeezed lime juice on it and let it burn me to death. And then I put honey and coconut cream and then meat over that. Then they wrapped it and went back to work."

Recovery behavior: "I was limping for days because when you split a bone like that, it throbs. It throbs and throbs." He noted that the throbbing of the split bone actually overtook the pain sensation from the skin wound.

Wound care: "I got in the water. I never changed the bandage for five days." (The only change mentioned was getting into water.)

---

Severely Fractured Knee from Earlier Accident (Referenced in Same Session as Thailand Accident)

In another seminar he described what appears to be an earlier accident where he was on a gurney at a hospital: "I was in such pain so I went to the hospital and on a gurney they had me strapped down... all in through here. So I thought that I was out of place. I thought I was going to have to have these bones put back in place." In this account the body had placed the bones correctly on its own.

---

Finger Regrowth, Bone Included (Patient Case, 56-Year-Old Woman)

Injury: Finger including bone ground off in a coconut juicer. "About this much of the finger" from near a joint, "Cut off that much of the bone", ground up with a coconut, no possibility of reattachment.

Protocol: Lime juice first, honey, coconut cream, raw meat bandage kept on continuously until the five-month marker when the remaining open tip area had not fully closed but the main structure had.

Documentation: Photographs taken by her and her mother at intervals over nine months.

Timeline: - Approximately one year later when Aajonus saw her in person: "You couldn't even tell." - Nail had been deformed and crooked: "It's all straight now." - "This was a 56 year old woman."

---

Bone Cancer / Multiple Myeloma (Aajonus's Own History)

Radiation damage to bone: "So the radiation, of course, creates bone cancer. And leukemia as a result of damaging the bone marrow. So, of course, they damaged all my ribs, my spines, all the shoulders, the hip bones, the femur joints. And those are the major bones that produce red and white blood cells."

Degree of damage: "So they damaged two-thirds of my body with that. So I got multiple myeloma, which is cancer of the blood and bone. So I was basically a crippled minimalist. I was a worm because I could barely move my body from the ribs down. And my back was in constant pain. And I would crawl on the floor on my elbows."

Spine cauterization: "They cauterized my spine so badly from irradiating me from here to here... my movement was like this and painful, excruciating." He compared this to firing clay to glass, once fired, it can't return to malleability. But he noted that the body is alive and CAN replace bone cells, unlike fired ceramic.

Recovery timeline from bone toxicity: "It was probably about 13 years before I was almost painless." He also stated bone cells live seven to seven and a half years, so full replacement of damaged bone cells takes at least that long.

At 27: "I had gained enough health that I only had to do yoga about two hours a day to keep my spine from being in constant pain because it was still cauterized."

---

Second Motorcycle Accident (Referenced as Earlier and Less Severe)

A second motorcycle accident is referenced in which he split the tibia (same leg) and broke bones, this appears to be a separate, somewhat less severe incident: "I split this bone, this tibia all the way down to the ankle, buckled in the back open. And then this kneecap here was broken and shattered. This tendon was torn down here. This tendon was up here. And all of the top of the tibia, the femur joint had broken it off. So all those were broken particles in my kneecap."

Recovery in this instance: "I was active and working in six and a half weeks with broken bones and all the skin gone but no gypsum in that situation so the skin completely held over pain, without pain in 12 days."

Questions Aajonus Answered

Questions Aajonus Answered

  • Q: How long were you on the raw diet before you started feeling some relief of the pain in your bones?

A (Aajonus): "That varied because when you have that much toxicity in the bone marrow, it's hard to get out. The bone marrow doesn't have an immense amount of blood running through it nor a lymphatic system like the rest of our bodies does to get things out quickly. So it has to move out the joints and move out slowly. So it was probably about 13 years before I was almost painless. But, you know, I was also learning how to refine the diet over the years. Right, I wasn't eating meat every day. It made a big difference."

    ---

  • Q (Implied, from attendees looking at photos of the woman's crushed ankle): What happened with the crushed ligament/tendon case?

A (Aajonus): He explained: "She didn't tear the ligaments or the tendons and or. She actually crushed them, which is worse than a break. A break is, you know, a break is all you're going to do is mend the bone back together. But, she actually crushed the tendons and the ligaments, fastening her ankle to her heel cap, you know. And, that, I said, that's five times worse, ten times worse. It's going to take longer. You may not be able to walk on her for six weeks. I said, but do the diet and you have your better chance."

He described the body discarding the crushed material through the skin: "It comes out through the skin in heavy rash. Heavy, heavy rash." He showed pictures of the rash appearing on the non-injured side as well as the injured side, explaining that this is how the body discards the crushed tissue material.

    ---

  • Q (Implied, from seminar attendee): What did the surgeons want to do about the ligaments and tendons in the ankle?

A (Aajonus): "Oh, they wanted to go in and cut heavily. But see, she didn't go to the doctor until her family was on her case. You know, her mother didn't want to take her to a doctor, but her father and aunts and uncles all said she'll never walk again and stuff like that. So, they took her to the doctor and she called me as soon as she got out of the office and she said, you know what he said? He said the same thing you. Worse than a breaker or fracture, she crushed the ligaments and tendons. Paid $300 to tell him that. And I told her that in 10 minutes. And the doctor gave her these foam pressure things to put on."

  • Q (Email, Oct 22, 2011): Re: Extracting Bone Marrow, regarding using a surgical steel ice pick to extract bone marrow from long bones

A (Aajonus): "It would poke right through bone marrow. I use chopsticks for pushing bone marrow. Looks as if it would be a good weapon!"

  • Q (Implied, from attendee at seminar): Can you get bone marrow from bones if you saw them or break them up yourself?

A (Aajonus): "Absolutely, that's fine. Yeah, you can do that. But you buy the femur, you know, or the tibia. But usually it's the femur and the tibia which have the most in it. Of course up near the knuckle it's all cartilage and bone. There's nothing in it. So about from here to here on the animal will be, you know, the rich bone marrow inside it. So at the knuckle you're not going to get anything. The knuckle's at both sides. That's just hard bone and cartilage."

  • Q (Implied): Did the woman whose finger was ground off have to do anything else besides the lime/honey/coconut cream/meat protocol?

A (Aajonus): He described her also putting on coconut cream at night "to make sure she got enough fats around it." He noted this phase "only lasted four weeks" for the nighttime coconut cream, while the meat bandage continued until the five-month marker. He also noted she had been on the Primal Diet already (she had the coconut juicer he imported from Thailand).

  • Q (Implied, from someone in seminar): What happened with the joint replacement pain for people who already had surgery?

A (Aajonus): "Many people with replacement joints suffered unending pain until they began eating raw meat. Most sufferers completely eliminated crippling replacement pain within 2 weeks of consuming raw meat twice daily.
